Noodler's General of the Armies - 3oz Bottled Ink
3oz (90ml) glass bottle of Noodler's General of the Armies fountain pen ink. It goes down green and then dries steel (Calvary) blue. The ink is partially bulletproof and fully eternal (Noodler's terms for permanent). Noodler's inks are handcrafted, so there may be slight color variations from batch to batch, particularly with this ink which is color changing as it dries.
General Sheridan, the Supreme Commander of the Armies of the West, gave the final approval to change the uniform colors after the civil war and was then used by the armies of the west. His home was at Fort Sam Houston in Texas, as well as Eisenhower and Pershing, both of which are still intact today. Fort Sam Houston was the training ground for Eisenhower, Pershing and Patton. It acted as an early pentagon so to speak, serving as the headquarters for the army of world war 1. The bottle artwork features General Pershing at Ft. Sam Houston and the early development of the Air Corps.
