Diplomat Aero Exclusive Special Edition History
A look back at all of the Diplomat Aero fountain pens that we have exclusively launched at Goulet Pens.
The Diplomat Aero fountain pen features a lacquered Zeppelin-inspired body with groove-like depressions on the barrel and cap. It has a satisfying soft sliding click cap that posts securely onto the barrel when writing. It features a smooth writing #6 JoWo stainless steel nib, a matte metal grip and trim, and fills via standard international cartridge/converter (both are included). The Diplomat Aero is made in Germany.
Cranberry/Gold (November 2025)
Released in time with the fall colors and the holiday season upon us, the Cranberry/Gold features a burgundy red lacquered barrel, with matte gold-plated accents.
Mint (July 2025)
This refreshing Goulet exclusive Aero in Mint features a lacquered pastel mint green body, complemented by matte chrome trim.
Fuchsia (May 2025)
Perhaps one of the boldest colors for the Aero yet, the Fuchsia exclusive features a vibrant lacquered fuchsia pink body, complemented by matte chrome trim.
Evergreen/Gold (Nov 2025)
Another holiday-themed release, this Goulet exclusive Aero featured a dark green lacquered body, complemented nicely by matte gold-plated accents.
Marrakesh Brown/Gold (Sept 2024)
Our first exclusive with gold-plated accents, this Marrakesh Brown Aero featured a rich chocolate brown lacquered body, with matte gold-plated accents.
Antique Pink (May 2020)
Originally a Goulet exclusive launch, Antique Pink later became a regular edition. Rachel picked this color, an anodized aluminum ballet pink with matte chrome accents.
Turquoise (August 2019)
The Turquoise Aero was originally launched as a Goulet exclusive, before becoming a regular edition. It features a turquoise anodized aluminum body, with matte grey accents.
Violet (September 2018)
One of our first two exclusives, released around the same time as the Blue. The Violet Aero features a magenta purple anodized aluminum body, with matte chrome accents. Originally launched as a Goulet exclusive, it later became a regular edition.
Blue (September 2018)
One of our first two exclusives, released around the same time as the Violet. The Blue Aero featured a royal blue anodized aluminum body, with matte chrome accents. Originally launched as a Goulet exclusive, it later became a regular edition.
