This navy blue metal Retro 51 Tornado fountain pen is acid-etched and printed to recreate the iconic WWII fighter plane. It features Retro 51's newly designed fountain pen grip and nib. It fills via standard international cartridge/converter and has a smooth-writing JoWo #6 steel nib. It comes packaged in a tube that doubles as a pen stand, along with a converter and two black short standard international ink cartridges.

The legendary Vought F4U Corsair was one of the greatest American fighter aircrafts of all time. A carrier-based fighter-bomber, it was the premiere Navy and Marine fighter during the late World War II and the Korean War. The Corsair was the first American-made aircraft to reach 400 miles per hour in level flight. In addition to its huge propeller and distinctive bent-wing shape, the aircraft was also known for the peculiar sound it made at higher airspeed.
