This isn't green it's GREEN!

Was looking for a green ink that was pen-friendly (I love Emerald of Chivor but the sheen limits the pens I can use) and eye catching. Friend recommended this ink. Yeah, it's eye catching all right. It's pop off the page green with a wet pen on a paper like Tomoe, and is intensely green on more normal papers, although not quite as "pop"-y. My grandson described it best - "that's not green it's GREEN!" And indeed it deserves all caps little kid shouting intensity when described. It's intense even in the line from a fine pen - no broad nib needed to make a GREEN statement. And as a few have said, the word "refreshing" somehow fits well.

Perfectly green

Well, liking ‘green’ makes for so many choices. This is a crisp, bright, clean green. Very refreshing.

Bright Green

This is a bright vibrant green which is lovely to write with. It has good flow and quick dry time. I tried this as a sample and had to get the bottle. I am enjoying this J Herbin ink and will continue to purchase more.

A bright cheery green

This is a basic, in-your-face pure green. Dries quickly, and has good shading. Might feather just a touch on lower quality paper and heavy flow. Especially lovely in a demonstrator pen, where it is a deep emerald green.

Well behaved lovely green!

I love Herbin inks and purchased this one because I saw someone else using it and thought it was beautiful. I was not disappointed. I have this in my translucent green TWSBI eco with a broad nib. It's a lovely rich green that performs well.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
