Nib Guide

Not sure which size nib is best for you?

Polished stainless steel #6 nib, made in Germany by JoWo and engraved with the Goulet Pens "GP" ink splatter logo. This nib will fit most fountain pens that accept a #6 size nib; feed and housing not included.

This is an update as of 2021 that does not include the scrollwork design on the nib.

We are unable to install our nibs on any pens when you order. We’re authorized dealers for all the products we carry, and changing out parts of a pen with another brand’s nib (even our own) voids the warranty on that pen. You will need to do this yourself, though you can reference our video or email us if you have any questions about it.

Good nibs but with some feedback

I picked up a medium and a fine nib to replace the terrible stub nib on my Conklin Duragraph. Someone on Reddit recommended the Goulet Pen Co. nibs, so I thought I'd give them a try. All of my pens had fine nibs so I thought it might be worthwhile to try a medium, so I got a fine and a medium. They are both very wet nibs (which I like) and very well tuned--extremely consistent in the feel regardless of stroke direction. However, they are tuned with some feedback. This was more noticeable on the fine nib for me, but I did notice it on the medium once I got used to it. My personal preference is buttery smooth, so while these nibs are good, I will be trying other brands in the future. That being said, I am keeping the medium on my Duragraph for the time being, since with the larger smoother nib the feedback is acceptable.

Silver Nibs,

Silver nibs don't get enough love; I find it easier on the eyes for specific ink colors or different pen aesthetics.

#6 medium silver nib

Writes wet and very smooth, replaced EF nib on a Monteverde that was very scratchy. Pleasure to write with.

Solid nib

They work well. I ordered three different sizes and they’re all good. The 1.1 stub has been a wonderful addition for my daily pen.
