Gold-plated stainless steel #6 nib, made in Germany by JoWo and engraved with the Goulet Pens "GP" ink splatter logo. This nib will fit most fountain pens that accept a #6 size nib; feed and housing not included.

This is an update as of 2021 that does not include the scrollwork design on the nib.

We are unable to install our nibs on any pens when you order. We’re authorized dealers for all the products we carry, and changing out parts of a pen with another brand’s nib (even our own) voids the warranty on that pen. You will need to do this yourself, though you can reference our video or email us if you have any questions about it.

Perfect nib for a happy calligrapher - 1.5mm stub

I bought the 1.5 mm Goulet stub nib to replace the medium point nib on my Jinhao X750 after watching Brian's nib-swapping video. Brian made it look easy (although I knew from the Angry Bird bandage on his thumb that it wouldn't be a walk in the park). After minor trial and error, I got the nib and feed lined up and reinserted them in the pen, and it was ready to test. I filled the pen with Jacques Herbin's "Emerald of Chivor" ink (sorry for the ink residue in the images) and was delighted with the result. The nib writes incredibly smoothly and works great with the Jinhao feed.
I came to fountain pens by way dip pens for calligraphy, and I love the experience of using fountain pens. But I've been searching for a fountain pen that can deliver broad, chiseled lines like what I get from a chisel-tip (broad-edge) dip nib. (Pilot Parallel pens do the job well, but they don't look or feel like a "fountain pen"). With the Goulet stub nib, I think I found it. It's still about half the width of what I usually use for lettering, so I'm still learning. I'm very happy with it.

Hard Working Nib

I use my EF Goulet #6 in a nib holder and run it as a dip pen for watercolor cartoon sketches. If you're an artist and curious, it works just fine in this manor and takes all the abuse of inking on cold press paper.

These are Really Nice Nibs

I replaced the nib on my Kaweco Supra with first, a Goulet broad nib. It wrote very smooth and the writing looks great. It was however just a little too wide for everyday use, such as journaling note keeping, etc. I have it set aside for special occasion. I bought another nib, this time in fine and it is perfect for what I want. It exceeded my expectations. I was afraid it would be scratchy and not deliver as nicely as the broad, but it is very smooth and writes beautifully. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of these nibs when needed.
