Rated 4 out of 5 by fishinggiant from What i've been looking for... Was actually thinking of making my own for my TN because i love this paper but this is almost impossible to find. Then, low and behold, GP comes out with their own. Paper is same great dot grid you find on the Rhodia products but paper is much thinner. No bleed through with my med nibs. Good size selection too. My only recommendation to GP would be to put a slightly more substantial cover on it. The cover currently feels a bit flimsy and thin. That is not so much a problem in the TN notebooks etc but as a standalone notebook it doesnt work as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by udeupa from Better than how it look and feel! It is very thin, reminds me the paper they use for Bible. The paper is not smooth like Rhodia, not thick like other fountain pen friendly paper, it actually looks really cheap. However, it is one of the 2 best fountain pen paper I have ever used. It's so thin, but it just won't bleed through, even with a super size Sharpie, it won't bleed through. With a ink drop, the drop stay on the paper like a ball shape, won't bleed through to next page (a little shadow). It doesn't even really shadowing with regular writing even with a wet writer pen and ink combination, just won't shadowing. It won't feathering, either. It's so thin... Just can't believe it till you see it yourself! The only complain is that the shading is not as good as Rhodia. But it's normal because Rhodia drys very slow, this drys really fast!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wade from Great way of getting Tomoe River paper. Just love that Goulet is selling these small notebooks, one of the most cost-effective ways of getting the Tomoe River paper. I was a confirmed Rhodia fan (ok, still am), but a friend gave me a sample of Tomoe River and I'm hooked. Would love if they would also bring out a notebook in Tomoe River's cream paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zack from Excellent for showing off I bought the notebook on a whim with some ink to try out some Tomoe River paper. I have to say that I'm impressed with the performance. Shading and sheening inks really pop on this paper, and it's extremely smooth (even to touch). The paper does have a lot of show-through (absolutely zero bleed-through though) so you'll only be able to use one side. It's also very thin (reminds me of the pages in a bible or hymnal) and somewhat crinkley. All in all, I'd recommend this paper, just know what you're buying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Arep from Superb fountain pen paper I adore this paper! Especially for sheeting inks such as J. Herbin and Diamine. The colors show up vibrant with the all the undertones and sparkly overlay. I only wish that there was an option to buy a notebook with more pages. I would love to have a bullet journal made out of this paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rbiemer from Very good small notebook! This soft cover notebook is just what I didn't realize I needed until I used it. It will comfortably fit in the cover for my tablet and it is large enough to be useful for notes and drawings or diagrams. The paper is excellent with my pens--Edison, Kaweco, Conklin, and Wing Sung--in the varied nib sizes I have. The paper feels smooth but not too smooth, I enjoy a bit of feedback from the page when I write and this notebook has just the amount I prefer. I didn't offer a rating for "dry time" as that is really dependent on the ink and the pen I'm using. For most of my writing with most of my pens, no worries. The ink will have dried before I close the book. All I need now is for the Goulets to make a really small version--business card sized--to fit in my wallet. (hint, hint!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by terrcly from Goulet Notebook a Hit I purchased this back in late July (2016) and have filled up my first one. I write on both front and back of each page - and with doing that, I don't notice the showthrough as I would if I did not. I love the paper (by Tomoe River) and the presentation. My only challenge at this point is in trying to label the outside of this notebook. Writing on the outside doesn't stay for me. If anyone has successfully worked with this, I would love to hear a good way to do it. But I love the notebook.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cgilbert from Excellent for fountain pens, a caution about the size This is my favorite paper for fountain pens. Smoother and thinner than Rhodia, and blows Moleskine away in every respect. Just be aware that this notebook is about .75" wider than a "large" Moleskine Cahier. In order to fit one into a Traveler's Notebook style cover I have to trim off the edge or it will stick out. (They are exactly the same width as the Leuchtturm 1917, though.)
