Very Smooth

This paper is smoother than the standard Rhodia dotpad and is even just a little smoother than the Clairefontaine Triumph notebooks. It is horizontally oriented so that your hand doesn't brush against the side no matter what hand you write with which is nice. I have officially switched over to these now instead of Rhodia.

New Favorite

I'm just starting to use this pad and I love it! Paper is super smooth with all my pens (FPs - Parker, Lamy, TWSBI, Pelikan, Kwaeco, Sailor). Very little bleed though with normal writing. Some when ink is applied heavy. Will update when I get past the first 20 pages or so.

Feathering and some ghosting. :(

Love the smooth paper but with broad nib pens some inks feathered; with pointed dip pen for calligraphy there was also feathering in spots; and with several different fountain pen inks there was ghosting on the reverse side. I will not be able to use this notebook for its intended purpose, so I can't recommend it despite the beautiful smooth writing experience it offers with fine-nib and some medium-nib fountain pens. See photos.

Great for school!

I love Mnemosyne paper! It really shows off myoat beautiful and come inks. This particular pad I ordered for school. I do a lot of diagramming in my notes. It's also hard to find good paper that is on a spiral which I prefer to other binding.

Fantastic Notebook!

I don't ever want to work without my 180 Mnemosyne ever again. I use it at work all the time since standard office notepads can't hold up to fountain pens. As an in engineer it helps me keep track of projects and organize all my project information while still leaving enough room to perform any calculations necessary. It's the perfect size to keep on my desk at all time. The paper very smooth, but not so much that it's distracting (looking you Rhodia). Paper is only lined on one side, so any ghosting is not really an issue. If you go overboard though, you may get some small bleedthrough. To top it off the thick cardboard back and plastic front cover help keep the notebook in good condition. To top it off each page includes a title and date margin along with microperforations for each page in case you need a single sheet. Overall, I love it and will probably get a couple more in different sizes.
