A simple item that works quite well for not spilling ink when refilling a fountain pen. The only thing that would make this item work better would be if a tiny pouring spout were incorporated into one point on its rim. Otherwise, a valuable but inexpensive tool for the pen aficionado.

well made, and very usefuli gave mine to a friend who was just getting into fountain pens, so this was a replacement ... i think that everyone who owns a fountain pen should also own one of these
