Goulet Notebook w/ 68gsm Tomoe River Paper - A5, Dot Grid (5.83 x 8.27)
A Goulet Pens exclusive! This side stapled notebook features 32 sheets (64 pages) of white 68gsm fountain pen friendly dot grid Tomoe River paper, a dark brown 150g kraft paper cover printed with soy ink, rounded corners, and measures 14.8cm x 21cm (approximately 5.83in x 8.27in, or standard A5 size). Great for bullet journaling!

Rated 5 out of 5 by tonya77 from Eating my words because now I love it! So I'm the one who originally posted a 4 star review of this product because of the flimsy cover. I like to journal and sketch, so while I used this notebook, I became accustomed to folding the cover back upon itself or clipping the entire notebook to a board. After filling this notebook, I tried to move on and go back to my old notebooking ways. Can't do it! I've tried two different notebooks but their bulky covers and thick bindings are now driving me crazy. Goulet's Tomoe River Notebooks have won me over, and I hope they don't change a thing. I'm planning to order a handful so I'll always have a supply around. I'm now a flimsy notebook fanatic!

Rated 4 out of 5 by tonya77 from Great paper, flimsy package I bought this because I wanted to try out Tomoe River paper, and wow, I love it! I was a Rhodia and Clairefontaine user before now, but the Tomoe River is probably the best fountain pen paper that I've ever used. Silky smooth, no bleed thru or feathering, lovely shading... However, this notebook is very thin, flimsy, and difficult to use unless sitting at a desk with a very smooth surface. I'd pay a few more bucks for a sturdier cover. I usually open the notebook 180-degrees and fold the cover back on itself so I'll have a decently padded surface for writing. Overall, the paper is wonderful, but the notebook isn't one I'll savor or save, so I'm not sure I'll purchase it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Inkwren from It Smells Like Paper! The pages feel lovely under your fingers. But the best part is the smell. It smells like it should. Like paper. Anyone who loves books and good paper know what I mean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rebecca from I need like 50 of these! This is actually my first time trying the 68gsm Tomoe River paper, and I'm very pleased. If anything, the 52gsm TR paper has a bit of show through simply from the paper being incredibly thin. This showthrough is reduced with the heavier paper. If you haven't seen my other reviews of these notebooks, I'm a huge fan! They have a soft cover and are best used in some sort of an A5 cover (I'm pretty sure they were originally designed for the Midori Traveler's notebook, for which I've been searching for lined TR paper inserts for ages). I will be buying these again and again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MaddlesJ from Great inserts for my TN These notebooks are perfect for an A5 travelers notebook insert. I use them for bullet journaling and regular journaling in my travelers notebook. I love the quality and weight of the paper. I have a couple of the lighter weight paper ones as well and they are fantastic too - but I have found I prefer the 68 gsm. The paper is so smooth and a dream to write on with my fountain pens. The only thing I don't like is the color of the cover - but I fix that by having colorful dashboards around them in my TN.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ron E from Nice paper for shading Nice little notebook to try Tomoe River paper. I love Noodler's inks but the Blue Nose Bear always feathered a little. This is the only paper that works for me with Blue nose Bear. If you enjoy sampling different papers, this one deserves a chance. You will buy it again, it is a good one. I like the shading I get with it. No bleedthrough despite it is fairly thin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nicole from Used for my Ink Journal I bought a Goulet Notebook to try out Tomoe River paper, and it's such a fantastic value! I wasn't sure what to use the notebook for, and ended up setting it up as my ink journal and it works perfectly!
