Rated 5 out of 5 by Jane P from Nice deep blue I have tried this ink in my Lamy 2000 with a medium nib. Wow. It is really sharp. You know when a man has a white shirt on with a nice dark blue (but not navy) suit coat and grey flannel trousers on and you think "yeah, he looks great"? (OK, maybe you don't) This is that perfect blue in his ensemble. It is classy. It's professional, but casual. With just enough brightness so you know right away it's blue. That's the color of this ink. I obviously love it. It is very well behaved on Apica premium paper. And it has a wet flow and even some shading from my Lamy 2000. I am definitely ordering a bottle of this! It could be my new favorite blue ink!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tashia from My Favorite Blue Ink So far, Diamine inks are my favorite inks! I haven't come across one that didn't perform beautifully. I mostly use Filofax, Clairefontaine, and Black n' Red paper, and these inks don't ever bleed or ghost for me (I use Pilot and Lamy F and EF nibs). This blue is so unique and beautiful. Though dark and professional looking, it still grabs the attention of my coworkers. I will eventually buy a full bottle (I only have a sample so far), but I need the 30ML size, as the 80 is more ink that I will ever need since I usually buy a bunch of samples to try different brands/colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FrankieB from Kind of Blue! I enjoy bright blue inks such as Kon Peki, Waterman's Inspired Blue, Pelikan Turkis, etc. For some reason though I always seem to want the ink to be a bit darker blue--Naples Blue from Private Reserve is another very good blue that leans darker. Now that I've discovered Oxford Blue from Diamine I am set--I have my lighter blues, and I have a few go-to darker, yet vibrant inks.. Oxford Blue, Visconti Blue, and Blue Velvet. I love Diamine inks--always high quality and reliable, and their new bottles are nice as well. Buying from Goulet is another reliable joy! best customer service and company ethos--no contest!! Rated 5 out of 5 by Nemo from Dignified, but has its fun side A dark navy blue ink that was well behaved and looks office-friendly. Had some water resistance which a big plus for me (water leaves behind a readable light blue/gray color). Dried in at least 15 seconds when I used it in a Noodler's Ahab. But that's not why I bought it. I bought it because there was SHEEN involved. The red/pink is kinda noticeable at the end of letters, but it really really shows through on Tomoe Paper (see pic). Tempted to buy the full bottle, but I really don't need another bottle of blue, do I...?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chris from My new favorite blue ink This blue is absolutely gorgeous. Using it with a really wet nib on some quality paper really lets the red sheen come out when it dries. I've never had a bad experience with any Diamine inks. This one is no exception.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bronchninja from LOVE this ink! Bought this along with the Diamine Midnight Blue which I also love. While the Midnight Blue is my "formal" documents and "at work" ink, this one I reserve for my journaling and letter writing. I is a rich blue and does nor feather. It flows like a dream in my vintage Parker 51.it flows like a dream and does not clog my beloved Parker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SaraHabz from So pretty, but so smeary I really wanted to love this ink, I promise. The color is amazing, the shading is lovely and the flow is great; but y'all, I cannot deal with the smearing. "Oh, it's a little humid in here...let me smear all over the page," said Diamine Oxford Blue (probably). I live in Louisiana and it takes ages to dry, the tiniest bit of humidity or liquid makes it smear. Maybe in another, drier climate this ink would work better, but as much as I love the color, the smearing is a deal breaker.
