Rated 5 out of 5 by Péter from It's always tea-time! I bought this ink recently (it was released a bit earlier in Europe) and I was totally blown away. It's a mid grey with a slight dirty brown/purple undertone and quite nice shading, even in a moderately wet pen. It really deserves it's name, it's like you're writing with the Earl Grey tea. Dries fast and doesn't smear after it's dried. I put this in my Lamy Safari Petrol (F) and it's definetely a good match. This one's quickly becoming my go to grey, I'm planning to use it regurarly. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mattbrockbank from We did it, /r/fountainpens! I've been a part of the Reddit community, /r/fountainpens, for a while now and I have to say it's my favorite place to talk about my fountain pen/ink addiction. To be honest, I hadn't really looking at Diamine very much when it came to ink; I've been a Iroshizuku fan, mainly. But I have to give credit where credit is due, not only did they product a really good quality ink, they did something that few companies rarely do, and that is getting the customers involved. They went so far as make an ink especially for us and I know that every retailer, as well as Diamine, has to be happy with this occurrence because the support so far has been astounding, from what I read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Apple2jax from Every day is tea time with Earl Grey Ink I am madly in love with this ink. I have it in my pelikan m605 broad nib and my twsbi eco turquoise medium nib. I love the variation in color of the ink. I even use it for my notetaking in one of my courses. This may be my favorite ink. It really is a rich, luscious, gray. At times, it reminds me of heather gray. I’ve used it on tomoe river paper, leuchtturm, regular spiral bound notebook paper, and Rhodia clairefontaine paper. I really love all the characteristics of the ink. It dries rather quickly, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nate from Awesome shading! Got this today and loaded it into a TWSBI Eco 1.1 and a Lamy Al-Star Medium. The ink has excellent shading, and a pretty short dry time. I could definitely see this making its way into my daily use lineup. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ArtyKat from I had to buy a bottle! I bought a couple of samples of this ink, simply because a friend raved about it in her blog. I am so very glad that I did! Hoever, after only a few strokes with it, using a Waterman Demonstrator Fine, I was in love. I am a color person- the more the better- but this grey stole my heart!

Rated 5 out of 5 by milljame from Lovely, well behaved grey This is a lovely grey with purple undertones. The ink displays great shading and dries well. I just wrote a batch of thank you notes with my LAMY 2000 broad. The ink lays down a nice wet line but dries quickly. Highly recommended if you are looking for a grey ink!

Rated 4 out of 5 by woodbonestone from Earl Grey for the Tea Lover Bought this recently and, as with all Diamine inks, it's lovely quality and a very good value for the price. Why no 5th star? Well, it seems to be more of a novelty name applied to a dark grey ink... it's in the same part of the tea tray as Diamine's Graphite, from what I can tell. Now, if it was scented with Bergamot, we'd really have something special on our hands!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jane P from Best grey ink I have!!! Until now, my favorite grey ink was Diamine Graphite. But this beats it, hands down. The shading is very nice. And the color is a real grey, not a pencil grey. I used it with an Edison broad nib on Tomoe River paper. It dried quickly, but shaded wonderfully. I love this ink. It is my new favorite grey.
