Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything I didn't get from Blue Nose Bear This is oddly close to Noodler's Blue Nose Bear except that it has all the shading I DIDN'T get from the Noodlers, I got beautiful shading off a Visconti B nib. It also gives a narrower line, despite being an EZ flowing ink. Behaves well, makes my pen glide, this is a keeper for me! Wondering if the other reviewer's sample came from a bottle that didn't get shaken before sampling. LOVE IT! You have to see this one off a stub, italic or BB nib.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful color. The name says it all. Great color saturation. My first bottle of De Atramentis ink. It won't be my last! Incidently, I have been wanting to get this color ever since getting the "Thank you" written in this color on a shipping invoice from the incredibly nice folks at Goulet. And I also bought it to go with the Noodler's Tahitian Tortoise Konrad I got on this same order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Color! Hint of Shading I bought the D'Atramentis Mint Turquoise looking for a fun green shade to write letters and sign cards. This one will work beautifully. I like using it in my Noodlers' flex pen. It is a clear lively green that shades delicately toward turquoise. It reacts with water, so has also been fun to sketch with for a watercolor look, especially for leaves and trees. For example, after sketching a tree or leaf outline, I blended the drawn lines of ink with a water brush, filling in the tree with a lovely blue-green tint. I think the Mint Turquoise will make a pretty signature ink for Christmas cards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from De Atramentis Mint Turquoise I like this ink enough to buy a bottle of it. It's color does vary between the pens I put it in. That in mind, I like all the variations, so I'm very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Grew On Me I didn't like this ink when I got it in the Goulet InkDrop. However, afterward I kept seeing the swatch on the website. So, I got another sample. Maybe it was the pen, but it looked good. It is a nice, refined green with just a bit of blue to it as well. There is some shading. It's not a high shading ink, but has enough to be interesting. So far, it behaves well on any paper I use and in all pens. This is the ink that finally got me interested in De Atramentis inks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty but boring I was excited to try this ink after seeing the swatch on the website. In real life, it's a bit... dull. Kind of greeny. Not a whole lot of turquoise. Maybe a bit grey. It writes very wet. I'll kill off the sample I've got, but I don't think I'll buy this again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful jade-like color. I absolutely love this color. The flow can be pretty wet, but the varying shades that you can get are great. Like I said in the title, it seems more of a jade color than anything else. My only issue is that I fairly frequently get hard starts with it. I love this ink but the hard starts are frustrating.
