One more blue ink you should keep on your desk

This is nice sky-blue ink with some dark blue shading if using Tomoe River paper. The blue is a lighter than the popular Iroshizuku Kon-Peki. I think I may like Souten more than Kon-Peki now. It reminds me of a cloudless blue sky true to its namesake Souten. Writes well and no feathering even on cheap notebook paper. Highly recommend.

Customer service

Ordered Pen and ink are great. Grew up in India using fountain pens in school and always wanted a high quality fountain pen. This store has everything!Package got misplaced. I called them and was told that if it gets lost they will replace everything free of charge! My mistake that I made an error in delivery address and eventually I located the package. Lady at cust serv end was amazing and patient. Breaking my new pen and ink every day. Love writing my medical notes in 'real' ink!

Love it

I have been using these with my sailor pro gear slim medium nib. And I love the color. The color is more towards the darker side (perhaps given the choice of pen and paper). I read somewhere that this ink has pigment - now this could be false and so I would suggest you (or Goulet) can re-confirm. I prefer if it is not but nevertheless I love the ink. Dries well, nice shading. I have been using it on Northbooks dot print book which has a slight yellow colored paper. On this pad, the ink appears to have hint of green/emerald than the turquoise. The carry case is a nice touch as well.
