Rhodia No. 16 Notepad - Black, Lined (5.83 x 8.27) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm in love I just purchased this as my first Rhodia notebook, still searching for a good quality notebook to use with the Noodler inks that tend to smear in all my Clairfontaine notebooks (notably, the eel inks are the worst but almost all take forever to dry on almost any paper). I was delighted with the texture and weight of the Rhodia paper, and the colors of the inks I've tried out just pop on the page. At least of my "problem inks" performs well enough on Rhodia paper that I will be able to continue using it. And as for my other inks...well they love the Rhodia paper...no feathering, ghosting, echoes or bleed-through. I'm ordering a couple more...can't wait to start journaling with Rhodia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great paper, great packaging. Paper's very good, no feathering even with some of the more infamous Noodler's inks. Minimal ghosting with Baystate Blue. The notepad itself is well made, good size for writing diary entries, logs, perhaps a short letter or memo. Fits in a (large) hand or a (large) back pocket, though writing with just a hand for support can be annoying. Lines don't get in the way of darker inks, and aren't obtrusive. The art isn't the most professional, but if you're a CEO you can just get a Rhodia notepad cover and rectify that problem immediately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Customer Service Even Better than the Product I love Rhodia pads and have been using them for many years. For my 1st order from Goulet Pens, I got 4 orange and 4 black lined pads -- one for each of my current writing projects -- and was thrilled when they arrived in a few days. Upon unraveling the intricate packing materials, I paused when I noticed one small thing: namely, a lack of lines. From the outside, Rhodia pads look nearly identical, and I'd received 8 blank pads. Were I a graphic artist, I'd have been thrilled, but for a writer, this was something of a problem. But it *wasn't* a problem, and here's why. I emailed Goulet and they promptly replied that they would send out lined pads immediately, with a label to return the blank pads. The next day, they told me I could keep the blank pads, which I happily distributed to my daughters' artistic friends, as "A Gift from the Goulet Pen Company." Everyone makes mistakes, but great customer service turns mistakes into happy memories and happier customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth, affordable paper This was my first purchase of paper made specifically for fountain pens. I have used inks by DeAtramentis, Noodler and Diamine, with no feathering or bleed-through. I think I might perfer a heavier paper for drawing or journals, but this is a fine, all-purpose paper at an affordable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A quick note I keep this pad on my desk at home for writing letters to my daughters. A great paper to write on. It fits great in an envelope. Also, as a fountain pen user, the ink dries quickly and doesn't bleed through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent choice. This paper works great with the pen I got, and is extremely smooth and flows well when I write. I wouldn't buy my caligraphy products from anywhere other than Goulet. I'm extremely satisfied!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rhodia Paper is great Rhodia paper is always nice and smooth and very fountain pen friendly. It brings out the special sheens that some inks have (Diamine Majestic Blue, J. Herbin 1670 Rouge Hematite, etc.).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best. I can't express my love for Rhodia stapletop pads. I am over the moon about this paper. I go through it so fast because I love writing on it so much.
