De Atramentis Pearlescent Ink Sample Bundle
We've curated a selection of five of our best-selling De Atramentis Pearlescent shimmering fountain pen ink samples. Each 2ml sample comes in a labeled plastic vial.
This set includes the following colors: De Atramentis Pearlescent Brilliant Violet-Copper, De Atramentis Pearlescent Cyan Blue-Copper, De Atramentis Pearlescent Heliogen Green-Copper, De Atramentis Pearlescent Velvet Black-Copper, and De Atramentis Pearlescent Whisky Brown-Copper.
Due to the amount of particulate in this ink used to achieve the sparking look, you may experience restricted ink flow in some of your pens. We recommend shaking the ink thoroughly before filling and gently rolling the pen in your hands often to keep the shimmer effect consistent. This will also help prevent clogging. You will also want to be diligent about cleaning and maintaining your pen when using this ink.

Would not work with my fountain pen. Used them with my dip pen. They bleed through my tomoe river paper. Did great on mixed media paper though.
The inks are gorgeous. I love the copper sheen.
These inks really fascinated my ancestral fish brain. They're so pretty and brilliantly saturated. I am not sure which one(s) I will choose for a larger bottle because they are all so wonderful!
I have a beautiful glass peni I dipped those inks using that pen. The sheens were lovely. I was nervous about putting the into my fountain pens.However, I also have several Harben shimmer inks which I do put into my TWSBI pens. I have never had a problem with any of those inks, they write every time with minimal twirling. I do make sure the bottle is shaken before I fill, cleaning has been good, mostly water. With a little pen flush at the end to get clear clean pens.
The De Atramentis sample set touches on the entire spectrum. The inks are consistent across multiple types of paper. I havn't seen and shading but the shimmer is dense. If there is any sheen I couldn't tell through the shimmer.
