Each sheet is microperforated at the top for easy and clean removal. The top stapled cover folds back cleanly, and there is a hard cardboard back for writing support. These economical pads are a favorite of artists, designers, writers, and notebook fans for notes, sketching, and hand drafting. People love them for their smooth paper and iconic cover.

Paper

Great paper perfect as advertised

Very happy with this notepad

This notepad has been one of my go-to notepads for work. Have often had to use it for marathon note-taking sessions in meetings, and it performs nicely. Vibrant white really allows good black ink to pop clearly on the page so I can easily decipher my furious scribbling a day or more later.

P.S. Excellent microperferation

Purchased this pad to add more contrast for letter writing to my grandmother, mostly using Noodler's or Pilot ink samples. She agrees that it's 'lovely stuff!' and that its grey lines had her initially thinking that I have a better hand than I do, ha. The paper is smooth enough that it reminds my hand to naturally slow my writing. I think it's a great value for 80 sheets.

A new color for me, same high-calibre experience.

Rhodia A4 notepads are my go-to casual letter-writing media. I've had the orange, I've used the black, I've upgraded to the heavier weight (light buff-colored). All perform perfectly with my fountain pens and inks - no feathering or bleed-through, and reasonable drying time. A friend comments receiving my letters reminds him of going to school in France. I like this icy white cover.

Classic tablet paper.

This paper is my go-to for fountain penned letters to friends and family. I am able to write on both sides, smoothly with any of my Pilot, Lamy, Sailor, or Diplomat pens of fine-to-medium nibs with no bleedthrough or feathering. Perfect for the purpose and with minimalist perforations. Recipients have no idea I ripped it out of a pad.
