First time using a fountain pen

This is my first time using a fountain pen for more than writing my name. i remember coming across fountain pens when i was in middle school around 15 - 18 years ago, all i did with them was write my name, i mostly wrote with Uni Ball pens from Mitsubishi and whatever pen i stole from my classmates back then.

i just received the Lamy Safari in the mail and had it with Medium nib, which i now regret having it in medium, and i'm glad i ordered fine and extra fine nibs with it. i tried the fine nib on Midori MD notebook and was very very very smooth to write with, the nib just glides on the paper which is something i'm not used to. so, i changed it to the extra fine nib and the experience was still smooth to write with but this time i can feel a little more feedback from the paper which felt like "yes! this is what writing is supposed to fell like"
it's less scratchy than the micro uni-ball eye pen but gives more of a writing feeling than the fine nib, it's like the sweet spot.

i love this pen, i recommend it for anyone who's interested in buying a fountain pen. but note that this is my first ever fountain pen, so take my review with 2 grains of salt. one grain for it being a first time and the other for trying 3 different nibs.
