I have been using my Midori for three months and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I love journals and this is my new favorite but it's the extraordinary service that puts Goulet over the top!

Had a choice between this notebook and an equivalent Banditapple where their main difference is a tri-stapled binding (this Midori) vs. sewn binding (Banditapple). The benefit of the latter is supposed to be durability. However, I'm more than halfway through this notebook and haven't had a single problem with the binding, and I'm a pretty rough user. Moreover, I'm a very small writer and this paper will take any pen/ink combination that I have , including a very wet Rotring 300 with 18k M nib that I can barely use anywhere else. My one caveat is that I recommend use of a blotter sheet; with a fountain pen, this is not exactly jot-and-slam-shut dry time.
