Penabling a newb!

This was a gift for my grandson, who is interested in fountain pens. Had to start him off right with a shading sampler (and a bunch of samples from my stash). He loves them!

Ink Sample Set

Great to see all the colors but its not all that easy to get them into the pen with the little bottles, takes some doing, but still glad I bought them. I like using different colors and certainly cannot afford to buy full bottles of lots of colors so this is a fun way to use the rainbow. Cannot really evaluate the flow, etc. so just chose Medium.

Great Introduction

I throughly enjoyed this ink set. I found that I had preference for the Navajo Turquoise from Noodlers. The items shipped quickly and I quickly added these inks to my swatch notebook. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you. 

Can I substitute a color in this ink sample set? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

No. We are unable to make substitutions in any of our ink sample sets.
