Delta CANOVA Fountain Pen (Special Edition)
The new CANOVA fountain pen from Delta is inspired by the Italian sculptor and architect Antonio Canova, who lived from 1757-1822 and was regarded as one of the greatest Neoclassical artists. His work is the inspiration for this pen, in particular his famous sculpture Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss (shown on the sleeve of the box), which is hailed as an important sculpture ushering in the Romantic period. The CANOVA pen has a stunning dark green resin body with very fine engraved lines down the barrel and swirled ivory body and cap finials. The spring-tension clip has a unique gold feathery wing design representing Cupid's wing.
This fountain pen includes a threaded standard international converter, has gold-plated trim, and a gold-plated #6 JoWo steel nib. Each pen is handmade in Delta's factory in Naples, Italy.
This special edition is only available at Goulet Pens, and each one is individually numbered with a 3-digit number. Included with each pen is a 30ml glass bottle of Delta green ink.
We do our best to photograph the pens to show how they will appear in person, but due to the nature of the material, there will be some slight variation in the pattern seen here on the white portions of the pen. This adds an element of uniqueness to the pen, with no two patterns being exactly the same. We cannot honor special requests.
