Noodler's non-flex nib

This nib has been seriously good for the price paid. I am very new to fountain pens. I was given a Karas Ink V2 by a friend who did not want it and found myself tinkering with it. Upon further inspection and research, I found that the tines of the nib had been bent so I went to figure out where I could get a replacement. I honestly just wanted a working nib so that I could try out a fountain pen, so I bought the cheapest #6 nib I could find. This nib was more than a great replacement to a damaged nib. This nib has also introduced me to a new hobby. I have nothing to compare this nib against, but it seems to be a bit wetter than some others that I have observed online. I experience ink creeping to the top side of the nib, though I am unsure if this is due to the nib or the feed. I do sometimes have a random hard start here and there. I have read that heat setting is helpful for noodlers nibs, and I have not tried that, so maybe that would fix the problem. Overall, a great experience. As for Goulet Pen Co., the customer service is excellent. I loved the detail with which they handled the package. It was clear that a person who cares packed this package.

it writes a wet generous western medium line, but not too much that you can’t write smaller size words. smoothed with micro mesh (personal preference) and it is a blast to use with my Konrad

Noodler's Ahab/Konrad NonFlex #6 nibs

I am very pleased with these nibs even though only one is being used at this time. I find it consistent with a Fine nib and it lays down a medium wet line that works well with my inks. I ordered a second nib as I want to experiment with shaping the tip into an even finer line/ configuration and at this price it makes it an easy thing to do.

Excellent Fix!

Well, I wanted the neponset and despite the reviews and many complaints about how the music flex nib wrote I bought one. Yeah, I had problems too. But all was not lost! I saw on the youtube channel that a different nib was available to correct this problem. I purchased the nib, put it on, and it worked. It writes very well now. Many Thanks!

no luck

wouldn't fit my jinhao 159. tried pressing it, rocking it and nothing. was able to put original nib in without any problem so probably wasn't just user error
