Rhodia Webnotebook - 5.5 x 8.25, Dot Grid Paper - Black is rated 4.7018 out of 5 by 57.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great journal! The notebook arrived to me in perfect condition, having been very carefully packaged and shipped. I've had the pleasure of using my new dot webbie for the past several weeks. While this is my first high-quality journal, I can tell you that it is fantastic to write on. None of my pens feathers or bleeds through on the 90gr Clairefontaine paper (XF Lamy with Lamy Blue, F Pilot Prera with Noodler's BP Black, Schrader Tactical FP with Kaweco Black cartridge, F Kaweco Sport with Noodler's Lexington Grey). Once I fill this one up, I'm certain I'll get another just like it. Thank you for such a positive experience!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth paper allows for fast drying I was skeptical about this paper because of the quality. I had no doubt that it was one of the best qualities papers out there but with that I worried about how quickly ink would dry. I'm a lefty and have written on the paper with 3 different types of ink and have yet to have an issue with smearing. I do wish it came with some of the features that other cheaper journals do and I'd like to see it come in a little larger size. All that aside, I'd still buy this notebook again without thinking twice about it. Excellent service from the Goulets and Co. yet again. It's such a blessing dealing with fantastic people who value great customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product just not for me. As with every Rhodia product the dot pad is not lacking in quality. I think the best thing Rhodia has to offer as a company is the consistency in products. I have purchased many notebooks from Rhodia (approx.75) and not one has differed in quality from the previous ones. Unfortunately I am not an artist and my hand writing lacks in quality at times. Combine those issues with a wicked case of ADD and no solid lines to keep me on track spells disaster. I was hoping I too could be in with the hip crowed and have dot everything but not so, I am sticking with the lines. Hopefully they will introduce a Webbie with the first grade type lines then I will be all set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Now even better I bought some of these a couple of years ago and really liked the paper, the soft-touch cover, the subtle dots and the overall quality. The only thing I thought could have been improved was the fact that it did not lie as flat as I would have liked. Well, now they have improved it. I have just bought four more and I see that the binding is now much more flexible. As a consequence the pages lie almost completely flat, wherever the book is opened. These are great notebooks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Strong product marred by too-thin paper The appearance and construction of the Webby is very good. Unfortunately, the pages are surprisingly thin and I've had bleeding with certain nib/ink combos. Because of this I find the Webby a bit of a luxurious disappointment and will stick with my other favorite pads and notebooks?the Basic Life notebooks, the Rhodia dotPads, and the Rhodia side staplebound notebooks. Curiously, the paper in these other Rhodia products is only 80g to the Webby's 90g, and I have never had bleeding with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect notebook I'm using this as a general notebook for jotting down ideas and reminders. The smooth, thick paper is very good for fast writing with no scratchiness or bleed. Ink does take a little longer to dry than I am used to, but I am keeping a cut piece of a manila envelope between the pages to act as a blotter which seems to help a lot. The dot pattern is excellent. It is much less obtrusive than lines or grids in my opinion. There is just enough visible to keep your writing level and consistent without distracting from the writing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On Goulet What a fine company. Really. Their selection and rates are so very kind to the pocket, always dollars below the price the same product sells at a different store. I am also in love with my orange dotWebbie. Better than expected. Goulet threw in a nice bookmark and their business card with a kind note about the transaction. You don't find places like this around anymore, as in the whole package. Their products are fantastic and I don't anticipate buying my pens, inks and notebooks anywhere else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds a lot without breaking I paste a lot of stuff into my books. I use them as a "Commonplace book" so I paste in lots of bits and articles and printed photos. This book holds up to this treatment better than Moleskine, in which I normally have to leave the last 30 pages empty in order to not over stress the binding. The Rhodia held it all! Very smooth writing experience and stays flat when open. I've never used a book with dots before and I find I do like them. One tiny problem: the bookmark isn't long enough. I had to run it to the side for it to be useful in opening the book to the next page.
