Hydrangea - this shade of blue is reminiscent of the image of raindrops nestling on its petals.

Gift for myself July 8, 2014
Reviewer: Catherine McBride-Stern from Elk Grove, CA United States
I originally ordered a sample of this lovely color and like it so much I decided to bite the bullet and order a bottle. Even though it is on the pricy side it has such a wonderful feel when writing with this ink and I absolutely love the color. Kudos to the Goulet Pen people as their customer service is excellent and friendly.  I love the fact they use different pens and ink's when writing notes on the invoices that give us an opportunity to see different pen's, nib's and inks that we don't own.  Keep up the good work. The only time I order from elsewhere is when you don't have what I am looking for, as example, the Sailor 1911 pen purchased as a gift for my husband as a graduation gift when he earned his Masters.

Dark blue June 9, 2014
Reviewer: Anders Strandroth from Västeras, Sweden Sweden
Blue seems to be one of the most traditional colors and there are a lot available. The ink behaves well and is totaly ok. But! There are a lot of other inks for less price that are so alike. I have Edelstein Sapphire and they are really similar, for less price. Hence the 4 star rating.

Lovely Purple/Blue June 6, 2014
Reviewer: KittyWren from Elk Grove, CA
I purchased a sample of this lovely ink. I currently have it in my new TWSBI 580 EF, it writes very smooth, so far I have only used this ink in my TWSBI, I want to see how other inks work with this pen, which I love, love, love. I do not think the color is too light, on the Rhodia ivory paper it is a lovely purple shade, on white it looks slightly bluer but still definitely purple. I may choose this as my blue(purple) ink. Pricey but it may be worth the cost.

I like it! May 22, 2014
Reviewer: Nadezhda
Unfortunately, I do not by my Iroshizuku from Goulet - I would prefer to get everything from here because of the lovely service, but shipping from US for such heavy bottles is wickedly expensive.
About the ink - I read the reviews and got the impression that it would be a "washed out color" - well, the color is a bit on teh pale side, but by no means very pale, it is perfectly legible. In my Lamy Joy it looks similar to the Edelstein Sapphire, but a bit paler that that, and with a much better flow. Regarding performance - what can I say, it is Iroshizuku with all the usual qualities of the brand, well-flowing, fast drying.
