3 oz (90ml) bottle of Noodler's Baystate Blue fountain pen ink.

The Noodler's Baystate inks are slightly different formulas than conventional fountain pen inks. They are designed to be more vibrant than other inks and have a slightly basic pH-level, and as a result they are prone to staining and should not be mixed with other non-Baystate inks. If staining should occur, a solution of 10% household bleach and 90% distilled water will clean it up. If you have any particularly rare or valuable pens, you may want to avoid using Baystate inks in them.

Fav. Blue May 30, 2013
Reviewer: Benjamin from OH
Its my go-to blue for everything. great color, decent dry time, great shading.

Despite what people seem to say, it doesnt stain as badly as is thought. Soap and water can get it off my fingers fine. I may worry about some plastics though.

My absolute favorite ink May 21, 2013
Reviewer: Tara Leederman from Irvine, CA United States
I've left a review on Ink Nouveau as well, but some of it bears repeating. Baystate Blue is, like any other piece of technology (inks and fountain pens being essentially technology) that is perfect given those affordances for which it was intended; it is also well-described by the manufacturer and in my experience has behaved well in every pen in which I have installed it. Its color is high-contrast, permanent, fraud-proof, non-feathering, non-leaking, and incredibly smooth in writing. I use it with fine nib pens, and clean them according to Nathan's recommendations when necessary. It is absolutely essential that each pen owner understand their technology--how to take apart and clean pens based on the ink they've chosen to use, and what inks will work best with what pens. That being said, if you take this credo seriously, Baystate Blue will never disappoint and is perfectly manageable. Functionally, it does everything as advertised and is a beautiful, wonderful ink.

I wanted to like it . . . . But . . . . April 17, 2013
Reviewer: Anthony Lowe from Edina, MN United States
I agree with Nathan Tardif's philosophy. I watched  video. I was looking for a bright blue. I love the color. The ink does amazing things. But it is so hard to work with! Staining? -- Wow, I'd heard about the trouble, but this stuff sets new standards.  I didn't believe it could be so bad. Seriously, anything it touches is permanently stained. I never go near the stuff without rubber gloves. Do not rinse it out in your sink or near your counter-top if you care about their color.   Clogging? Yes, this too.  So why would i use an ink that ruins the pens I love? Since I have a whole bottle, I'll keep trying to use it in the cheap disposable Platinum Preppy, which I don't find particularly satisfying.  We'll see how it goes, but a clogged eye-dropper pen is a troublesome thing, and if that happens the whole thing is going in the trash. Goulet, as usual, is a great company and a pleasure to deal with. Informative videos. Good prices. Fast shipping.

Noodlers Baystate Blue April 11, 2013
Reviewer: Alan Edwards from Broadstairs, Kent United Kingdom
After reading so much about this ink I just had to try it.  Im glad that I did,  its an incredibaly vivid blue which just jumps of the page at you.  It is very well behaved.  Of course there is the staining issue that is well known but if you know about the issue,  and I dont think anyone dosent know,  then you simply dont use the ink in a pen that you dont want to stain.  Having said that,  I tried it in a Lamy Vista and it washed out completley clear with a solution of 10:1 bleach and water.  Thouroughly Recomended
