excellent September 7, 2011
Reviewer: Susan Schmitz from Coralville, IA United States
love this ink for using in a brush pen for drawing and shading. i'm not too adept at it yet but it works wonderfully with a brush pen or fountain pen filled with black ink for pen and ink drawings

Lovely light grey with GREAT shading! August 24, 2011
Reviewer: Donna D from Land of the Great Lakes
I love this ink in a full cursive italic, broad nib. The shading is out of this world. A true grey!

It's...cool? June 26, 2011
Reviewer: Kyle Patton
It's most definitely one of the most unique inks I've sampled, but not that enthusiastic about it. Its just that on some papers it can be difficult to read and write with (the more ink-resistant papers). However on absorbent papers it is very nice. A tad dry, but not bad. Many love it though, so just grab a sample and have at it!

Gorgeous Gray Inks May 6, 2011
Reviewer: Kenneth Kellogg from Waikiki, Oahu, HawaiI, USA
I own three gray inks: this Gris Nuage, and Pilot's Iroshizuku "Kiri-same" and "Fuyu-syogun." All three are wonderful, and I highly recommend any (or all) of them to anyone looking for gray ink. The Gris Nuage is the lightest. The Kiri-same is a medium, brown-ish gray. The Fuyu-syogun is the darkest -- a slate-bluish gray. All three work wonderfully on my gray personal stationery... understated and elegant. These are also inks that I would use for writing a letter of sympathy for the loss of a loved one. They convey the mood of loss without the starkness of traditional black, and the gray ink has been noticed and complimented as being more "sympathetic."
