Beautiful Ink May 16, 2012
Reviewer: Christopher Strother from Rancho Cucamonga, CA United States
I bought this Apache Sunset ink to go with a Noodler's Ahab flex. It is a beautiful color, darkening at the bottom and lighter at the top. Since I bought I bought it as a gift, I was pretty bummed after seeing it that I had to give it away. I'm going to have to order some for myself.

Great shading March 26, 2012
Reviewer: nrp from Mass.
I was on the lookout for a brown/amber ink, mostly to try out with a semi-flex pen that I recently acquired. I think this is a great ink, and Brian's "Swab Shop" gives a great preview of the color. The ink arrived in time, and was packed very well.

Golden Yellow February 15, 2012
Reviewer: Freddy from San Diego, California United States
This is a warm golden yellow that is darker than a bright sun yellow.  It is warm without being in your face as a purer yellow would be.  It's a J. Herbin ink so I expected a well behaved quality product and I was not disappointed.

Butterscotch Appeal September 18, 2011
Reviewer: Doug Fishback from Jenks, OK
I enjoy this color more than I find it practical.  It's a warm, butterscotch toned ink with very good shading.  Unlike Kenneth, I find that it does not pop enough on ivory stock, so I am going to switch to Clairefontaine white notepads with my next order.  This might make a good ink for editing or annotations, where you want the main text to remain dominant.  It is too far off the path for business correspondence, in my opinion.  Excellent flow and behavior in all respects.  Less prone to ghosting through in my cheap Moleskine notebooks.

Gorgeous Golden Ink May 6, 2011
Reviewer: Kenneth Kellogg from Waikiki, Oahu, HawaiI, USA
I bought this ink for my ecru stationery. The combination of ecru stock and gold ink is posh. I also use J. Herbin's Orange Indien and Pilot's Iroshizuku's "Yu-yake" for this stationery as well. The Ambre de Birmanie is the lightest, the Yu-yake is next, and the Orange Indien is the darkest -- but still a medium color.
