Diamine Ancient Copper (80ml)

For flex-nib fans, Diamine Ancient Copper is a must have. The pronounced shading, dynamic color, and full saturation makes this one of our best selling inks. Its unique properties and relatively quick dry time (especially for a fully saturated ink) make this an ideal choice for personal correspondence, calligraphy, and journaling. For editors and teachers that are looking for a warmer mark-up color, or business folk who want a color that is office appropriote and has some flair, Diamine Ancient Copper is an excellent choice. Like most inks in the Diamine line, Ancient Copper is a solid performer with good flow and easy cleanup.

Bronze Age April 16, 2014
Reviewer: A.S. from The Blasted Coast of Maine, USA
I purchased this ink to anoint my new Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age 1.3mm stub. In a word---grandeur (although what I really want to do is use J. Herbin's Rouge Hemitite, which in my opinion is the most magical fountain pen ink ever produced, but I don't dare risk it on such an expensive pen. Rhetorical question: why are the most gorgeous inks the most prissy? Is there a correlation? No matter, Rouge H. works swell in my Konrad with a Goulet stub, and on Tomoe River paper...yikes! Now, if only my fiction were worthy of the shimmer and shine...) Anywho, Ancient Copper is well named and refined. Use it for transcribing Keats, signing your DNR, alchemical recipes, etc. A new favorite.

Really gorgeous color, great performing ink April 15, 2014
Reviewer: Adrian from SAN FRANCISCO, CA United States
This is really lovely orangey-brown color. This is nearly always in an every-day carry pen, usually with a broad smooth italic nib. It's just such a fun color to write with. I often use it for note-taking or journal entries.

Like all the Diamine inks I have it has good color saturation and goes down well and with a clean line on Rhodia and Clairefontaine papers, as I would expect.
