Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of the Best A shimmering, frozen pond awaits your pen with Clairefontaine's premier stationery tablet. The surface is an absolute joy for your writing instrument of choice. I am a fountain pen user, and this tablet is exactly the writing experience I have been looking for. There is little tooth with this tablet, so if a buttery smooth writing experience is not what you are looking for, go elsewhere. However, if you are looking for an effortless glide through your thoughts and emotions put to paper, this is your paper. Hats off to Goulet for offering this gem at such an affordable price point. Write more letters! Email can't capture the personality of your script! Cheers, Michael Gause happy customer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best paper ever!!1 The French really do know what they're doing when it comes to manufacturing paper. Rhodia and Clairfontaine have always been excellent. They are very smooth, there is no show-through with almost any ink and almost every ink shows interesting shading on these papers. The greatest advantage of the Triomphe range is price and utility. I find the stapled pads to be difficult to use past the first sheet or so and then difficult to remove along the perforations. These inexpensive, glue-bound tablets are just perfect for everyday use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stationary - A pleasure The paper itself appears to be quite normal upon first inspection. However, when I start to write on it with my Lamy pens, it turns into a simple pleasure. The texture is smooth to the touch, and the ink sticks flows very nicely onto the page. I don't think I can go back to other paper, even for my simple desk stationary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clairefontaine Triomphe Writing Tablets I wanted to start writing letters again and wanted a letter pad similar in size and convenience as what my parents had, but also FP friendly. After visiting some forums I decided on the Triomphe tablet with matching envelopes. I got both a blank and ruled pad. I have only used the ruled paper to date. The paper takes my ink very well (Private Reserve with a Chinese Hero Fine nib pen). In addition to the science of this paper (takes ink well and good construction) I also like the art of the paper. The envelope with 3 to 4 sheets folded in half inserted, sealed, and addressed just looks good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good stationery I am actually not fond of Clairefontaine notebooks, but the paper is aces and my problems with notebook binding don't occur with the stationery pads. Very smooth, great for fountain pens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Fountain Pen Paper This is great paper. I use the lined/ruled paper because it's so much easier than putting a sheet of lines underneath a page of unlined paper. This paper feels very smooth, and there's never any bleed-through or feathering. Finally, I have had no problem using wax seals on this paper. The melted wax does not bleed through to the underside of the paper. I use this paper for all my letters--both short and long. I wish they either made this paper a quarter-inch narrower, or else made greeting card envelopes a quarter-inch wider because I don't fold my letters, especially with the wax seals on them. I insert the letter, unfolded, into a greeting card size envelope after trimming off a quarter-inch from the width.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Triomphe This was not my first time using Clairefontaine paper, I used to use it when I was in elementary school. And rediscovering it now reminded me just how amazing this paper really is. No feathering what so ever, and now bleed through at all. this paper is brilliant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Triomphe 5.875 - 8.25 Very good paper. Smooth, but not glassy; and most colors will pop against the brightness of the white. Would suggest F or EF nibs; line spacing is narrow.
