Love it! Good paper absorbs ink without feathering.

Ordered these for my roommate - she's a writer and keeps several pads going all the time. The dots are great - not free to wander like blank, not overly constrained like grid.

Shipping and general view of Goulet Pens |

I have been using fountain pens for over 30 years. I have tried many different inks, and many different papers. The ones that I have come to use the most are Noodler's Ink, and Rhodia pads. Both are truly wonderful. Also wonderful is the service I have gotten from The Goulet Pen Company. From the gracious email to let me know the order was received to the lovely note included on the invoice, the experience is a joy. The service is also quick, and the prices right. I don't buy everything from them, but that's only because they don't carry everything that I need. Many thanks.

I'm so glad I heeded people's advice to try this paper. It's smooth, doesn't bleed or feather and fountain pen ink dries relatively quickly on it. I understand some of the concerns about ink drying times on this paper as it takes about 20 seconds for my Sailor Nano to dry to the point that it does not smear, but this is not an issue for me. I use this paper to write, and I'm right handed, so by the time anything contacts the ink, its dry. All other papers I have used with faster drying times feather and/or bleed to some extent. I have only found one paper that is smoother to write on with a fountain pen, but the ink never dries on it. Rhodia, for me, is the perfect balance.
For reference, my daily pen is a Pelikan M205 with a Binderized .3mm cursive italic with Sailor Nano Blue-Black ink. The nib is a little toothy on cheap paper, but not on this.
