Sirens were beautiful women, sometimes half bird, sometimes half fish or serpent, who drew sailors to their deaths with their enchanting music.

deep blue color May 1, 2013
Reviewer: Edu Almeida from Brazil
Lovely color, really intense and saturated. I don't think it is the wettest ink I've ever used, neither the easiest to clean off, but it is still a good option for those who enjoy a deep blue color.

Dynamite for Dip Pens November 25, 2012
Reviewer: TomR from Georgia
Works fine in my fountain pens, good color, albeit a bit subdued. The real plus, discovered almost by accident, is that is is super in my steel nib dip pens. I can write 4 or 5 lines without having to reload. Something about the surface tension, viscosity, etc. makes it last forever. Don't know how it does in gold nib pens, haven't tried it yet.

Another tough nut to crack October 22, 2012
Reviewer: Breck from Spokane
An average blue in this current marketplace of inks is going to have a challenge breaking into it. What can it do? or what does it look like? that is different from the myriad of other well-established blues? That is the question. I could not find an answer.

Re: its characteristics I found it a bit dry and  hard to get a good flow going.

very attractive, but dry October 6, 2012
Reviewer: Tony Belding from Hamilton, TX United States
This is not a vibrant blue, it's more of a dark and rich blue that almost straddles the border between blue and blue-black.  I actually like the color a lot, and the shading is excellent.  It's also a quite dry ink, which is pretty resistant to bleeding or feathering.  However, it's so dry that I found at least one pen (vintage Sheaffer Imperial) that refused to write with it.  I think that's an extreme example, as most of my pens don't seem to have a problem with it.  Just something to keep in mind.
