the flow, water resistance are great. won't stain pens. the dry time is a little long and the color is just ok (for me).

My favorite Blue February 21, 2012
Reviewer: Marc Bloom from Pittsburgh, PA United States
This Iron-Gall stays bluer than the Diamine Registar's Ink (that I also have and love) but has the same properties (water proof, no feathering or bleeding). Is a bit dry so use a wet pen.

Great waterproof colour. February 8, 2012
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from CROYDON , NSW Australia
This ink flows well in my Pilot Vanishing Point Medium and Fine nibs, though after a while, it does appear paler. The flow can be restored temporarily by removing the nib unit from the barrel, holding nib up, and twisting the converter down a little (toward you - counterclockwise), till a tiny drop of ink appears just at the mouth of the intake hole. This forces ink through the feed. With a dip nib, this ink is very versatile. Can be almost black, or a very pale, dusty, faded denim colour. Very sensual and sedate at the same time. Great for formal occasions. No redness to it. A true blue. Waterproof!. Very handy!!

Lighter Than Registrars February 7, 2012
Reviewer: Wallace Welch from Navarre, FL United States
Depends on what you want.  Clearly the Diamine Registrars is a heavy duty final color while this is less intense.  All of the Rohrer inks I've tried seem less intense to me.  This may be a better choice in a totally waterproof ink for some, but I lean to the Registrars as being worth the trouble of using an iron-gall based ink.

R&K Salix January 24, 2012
Reviewer: Ken Cavers from Winnipeg, MB Canada
Sweet!  I love this ink.  A fairly dry ink, it has tames the wettest of my pens, my Onoto Magna 261, making it more than useable at work.  Further, it is permanent, and only a bit of the blue runs with water, leaving easily legible script.   Very little showthrough, even on cheap copy paper.
