First ink for my first pen (Jinhao X750 w/ EF Nib) October 19, 2014

Bleeds through on very cheap Staple's loose leaf paper. Cheap paper that will make this ink ghost through but not bleed through is in a Studio C Spiral notebook (can buy at staples. not sure about the paper in their composition notebooks), and the dry time on that paper is not that long (25s or less). The ink will ghost through but it's not really that noticeable compared to cheaper paper. (A Pilot G2 will ghost through more in that notebook compared to this ink so thats surprising). I heard 90ml of ink is actually a lot compared to other brands selling in less than 60ml bottles so that is also a plus.

More about the ink and less about paper: it is a very black ink, with almost no color variation, making it great for high school (the environment I'm using it in), college, or even at work or the office. Also looks GREAT when writing Chinese characters (I take Chinese class)
Overall, amazing ink. I am most likely gonna use this as my black ink, and get a shade of blue from Noodler's

Heavy black line, doesn't bleed through.  My favorite writing ink.

Not Too Bad September 11, 2014

I really have to say I'm somewhat underwhelmed by this ink.  I bought this one hoping for an even-less-feathering Noodler's Black.  It... sorta? delivered.  On some papers it almost seems to feather *more* than standard black, and doesn't write as darkly to my eye.  It's not a bad ink, but I think I'd chose standard Noodler's Black over it.  It also had extremely protracted dry times for me on Rhodia paper, although reasonable ones on less-expensive copier paper.

A Versatile Performer September 8, 2014

The blackness of the X-Feather ink seems more intense than the Waterman Intense Black that I had been using. It flows very well in my Noodler's Konrad Flex, keeping up with my writing but with no drips. I appreciate the "bulletproof" security of being able to write checks with it, something I don't dare do with the Waterman. The X-Feather indeed performs well on porous copy paper with minimal feathering. Also, although this ink does have a longer drying time on some paper than other inks I have used, that hasn't been a problem for me. This ink is definitely a keeper.
