Marine! April 24, 2013
Reviewer: Andrew Eberle from You know where...
This is a great ink! Works wonderfully from my TWSBI Diamond 540 EF. Even works well on cheap paper. Very nice color, and is a nice change from the loud shade of orange I was using previously (De Atrementis Jasmine, great ink, smells awesome, but a bit too bright for every day writing IMO). Excellent shading, relatively dry, but I think I prefer this level of "lubrication". Overall good stuff. Not sure if this is a new thing Goulet is doing, but thanks for the Tootsie pop Rachel Myers! Very cool thing to find in a package of ink, haha. I would definitely recommend this ink!

I Think I'm in Tahiti! February 14, 2013
Reviewer: Tyra from Seattle,, WA United States
First, the chemistry:  Flows well in several pens.  I write almost exclusively with italic nibs & this ink shades beautifully.  I'm reporting that after using it on Clairfontaine and the Rhodia Webnotebook.  No feathering or bleed through on either of them.

Second, the aesthetics:  I'm not sure I like this incredible color.  I can't book a trip to Micronesia or the Caribbean and when I use it that's all I can think of.  It's stunning.  I've had too many what Scheaffer used to call "Peacock Blue".  This is a bit more green than the majority of turquoise inks.  I really can't liken the color to anything other ink color.  "Marine" is an apt name as it is like one of the colors in tropical oceans (Very close to the swab as my monitor shows it - as usual, kudos to Brian and his staff.)  I'd never use it for any business purpose tho'.

I hear that Polynesians have one hundred or more words for blue.  Sad that English is so limited.  This color would surely have a unique word for it.

I didn't want to like you... October 29, 2012
Reviewer: Tina Hammonds from Hayneville, AL United States
I felt this ink would be too light for daily use upon first inking up with it, and even said as much in my ink journal.  But, I was wrong.  The more I used it the more it grew on me - it isn't a very dark color, but it shades beautifully and is gorgeous on paper out of an italic nib.  I have a LOT of samples but just a few bottles - this is about to be added to the bottle collection.

Diamine May 17, 2012

I find the ink is less smooth with some bleeding on a bond paper than some other brands I've used.

Diamine Marine Ink March 6, 2012
Reviewer: RM from Bel Air, MD United States
Like this color a lot as it reminds me of carribean waters; it flows great withPreppy   fine nib, and even better with a Sheaffer 100 medium nib;
