Nice dark ink March 18, 2013
Reviewer: Yvonne Kirk from Picton, nsw Australia
Well behaved darkish blue green, it doesn't bleed or cause massive issues like other darker inks can

fabulous ink! March 11, 2013
Reviewer: Keri from Jacksonville, FL United States
I just love this color! I'm super fond of those in-between blue-green shades, especially as they grow darker and have a touch of black. Diamine Twilight is another favorite of mine, and I'd say that the two are like siblings - Twilight is more of a black, while Eau de Nil is brighter. Like winter and summer inks, maybe?

Anyway, Eau de Nil makes a lovely watery blue-green-hard-to-pinpoint line with my Waterman Philéas medium pen. It's not the most businessy color, but it's good for notes and personal writing. But then! I put it in my Konrad Flex and the line is much wetter, as tends to happen with the Noodler's pens, and it darkened up nicely. It's actually about the same color-feel as Twilight in my Philéas, whereas I tend to think Twilight is too black in the Konrad. (My Philéas tends to bring out the lightness in Diamine inks.)

Interesting, but not a daily. March 7, 2013
Reviewer: P. H. Dublin from Houston, Texas, USA
I wrote the first page of a letter to a penpal in this ink. It works well with the pen I paired it with (a Parker Vacumatic). Zero issues with Moleskine paper and is a dream on Clairefontaine's Triomphe.

My biggest issue is the color itself... strange, I know, considering I'm giving it 4 stars. It gets that rating from me due to its positive properties. It does shade going from light (yet distinct) to heavy and pronounced. The ink and nib combination makes the overall writing experience very smooth and controlled.

The color... has its applications. I could see using it as an art ink (as I had a pan of watercolour very similar to this). With a brush, nice washes could be made and with a flex nib fountain pen, some expressive pen & ink drawings could possibly be made.

Gorgeous Blue-Black-Green January 26, 2013
Reviewer: NSmith from Dallas, TX United States
Bleeds out of a broad nib, but well behaved in every other size. Regular dry time, not great, not terrible.
