Fanastic Pen the new JoWo nibs are amazing! April 20, 2013
Reviewer: James R. from Michigan
I just received my new pen today (excellent shipping speed as always!) inked it up with J. Herbin Caocao Du Bresil and all I can say is WOW! even on rough paper this pen is smooth. on Clairefontaine paper the pen really shines.

One caveat though, if you plan on using the ink sample vials you will want to buy the syringe kit on here as the vac 700 won't fill from them. Filling with the syringe is very easy though and one sample vial is a full pens full of ink.

Vac 700 April 12, 2013
Reviewer: Chuck Roemer from Indianapolis, IN United States
This is a very impressively made pen - the fit and finish are excellent.  It has a substantial feel in the hand.  The vacuum filling system is very cool, and very easy.  I bought this pen looking for a line width that is between the "typical" fine nib and "typical" medium nib, and that's exactly what this is.  For a medium, it's a thinner line than you might expect, but it's still got a presence.  There's a good sized ink capacity.  The pen is easy to disassemble and can be cleaned easily.  It's a neat, reliable instrument.

Yes, but... March 21, 2013
Reviewer: Alain Lavoie from St-Félicien, QC Canada
Perfect pen but... I do prefer my not so old Diamond TWSBI. Nothing serious againts the Vac though. Maybe it's just because I'm left handed (but I do write with the right hand) and tried to unscrew the other way around. But this is my problem, not the pen's. As it is almost brand new, there are good chances that I get used to it with time. Medium nib's allright.

TSWBI Vac 700 and Vac 20 Ink Bottle February 27, 2013
Reviewer: Webb Stacy from Andover, MA United States
This is a very interesting pair. If you fill it completely, the Vac 700 holds nearly as much as an eyedropper. But, as the video on this site shows, it's a little risky to do this, because you might make an inky mess if you're not careful. The Vac 20 ink bottle makes it easy and risk-free, though...just screw in the Vac 700, invert,  and pump a couple of times.

The only real problem I've had with the pen is with the shutoff valve. I like the idea of the valve, because I'm tired of getting inky fingers after getting off an airplane. But sometimes I forget to open the valve for extended writing, then it goes dry. The only way I've found to get the ink started again is to invert the pen, pull the plunger part way down, then push it back up. However, this introduces the risk of, uh, making an inky mess!

All in all, though, a wonderful pen and ink bottle at a terrific price.

Don't buy it February 19, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from ATLANTA, GA United States
This pen is awful. Skips, irregular ink flow, dry. It seems that this pen company, twsbi, has no quality control.
