A Permanent Pure Blue July 5, 2014
Reviewer: Percy Bjorklund from Sweden
Well, the blue hue isn't exactly 'pure', there's some cyan in it, but it's decently blue.
And we're not exactly spoiled by durable inks featuring a color in this neighbourhood.
And this ink is both water proof, labeled "bulletproof" by Noodler's, and scores an easy AA on my 10-day, accelerated fading test, on a scale of AA, A, B, C. This test tries to estimate longterm durability by testing lightfastness.
So why not five stars? Well, this ink has some pronounced issues with drying in the pen. There may be startup difficulties, clogging, and in particular changes in inkflow, as the pen dries over time.
So to enjoy this ink, I strongly recommend using an exceptionally well sealed pen, as well as having a generous ink consumption, like a broad or wet medium.
Otherwise, the ink is a rather light shade of bright, clean blue. It is reluctant to get darker, so doesn't shade much.

I like this ink June 8, 2014
Reviewer: Mike from Martinez, GA
My brother gave me a sample of this ink and I put it in my Lamy Safari EF pen. It flows very well and I like that it is bullet proof. It is a light blue in my pen, almost a sky blue. With a medium nib it would probably be darker.  It was hard for me to change from Noodler's Black, which is my favorite ink and is always in my Lamy 2000 (my EDC pen) but it is a nice change and will look great on my checks. It brings back memories of the "washable" blue inks I used in grade school and high school. Your ink samples are a great way to try inks without buying a whole bottle.

Great blue, great properties November 29, 2013
Reviewer: Benjamin from GT
This is my only blue ink, I prefer black and blue-black, but this has a great color and is bulletproof.  I'm not sure why it is more expensive or why it comes in such a small bottle, buy it'll remain my blue.

Nice, but seems to dry rather "fast" on nib November 19, 2013
Reviewer: Benjamin from GT
I really like this color, and think the bulletproof properties are great.  Still its not a five stars because this ink seems to dry on the nib or feed causing some start problems.  This in comparisson to other Noodler's inks on the same pen, I've seen this happening after not using the pen for two or three days... might not be an issue if u use it more frequently, but in my case it is, and with other inks I've let pens unused for even a couple of weeks that start without problems.

Luxury Blue September 26, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from New Orleans
Luxury blue functions as advertised.  It is bulletproof and eternal.  No bleeding occurs at all in the presence of water.  The ink is wet, yet even on cheaper paper it is not prone to bleed through or feathering.  This ink does have a chalky quality making it a light shade of blue rather than a deeper blue.  If your a Tar Heel fan you might really like this.
