Beautiful color, average properties March 11, 2013
Reviewer: Ilan Gai from Tel Aviv, HaMerkaz Israel
First, i have to say that the service here is amazing. Communication & shipping kept me relaxed that my product is safe and i was free to just be excited until it arrived.

About the ink:

The color is amazing, kind of a red/orange, very light but noticeable. The flow is superb, and for a red ink it cleans out quit easily.

Feathering is noticeable. Only on super smooth paper i can get a clean line. Don't get me wrong, you have to really look on a clairefontaine paper to see the feathering, but it's there. Also a bit of an issue with bleeding, but i've seen worse.

To summarise, I'll be using this ink for outlining, not for writing.

Interesting Ink February 6, 2013
Reviewer: Chris from Canaan, IN United States
I bought this after seeing its brilliant orange color on a review on youtube by someone other then Brian at gouletpens.com.  I should have read some of the reviews here before I ordered.  I was not expecting this ink to be two different colors in different lights.  Under soft white light bulbs it is a great looking orange.  However, under daylight light or natural light bulbs like at my desk this ink is definitely a strawberry.  So be warned, but if you read the reviews here then you won't be surprised.  Still a good ink and can be a conversation starter under any light.

quite a red January 30, 2013
Reviewer: Colin Tatum from mount dora, FL United States
noodler's dragon's napalm is really an intense red orange.  the stains from this ink are harder to remove than the bullet proof black.

when dispersed into water a neon yellow color seperates from the rest of the ink.  i think this might be a black light responsive layer.  noodlers adds those to some of the inks like the whiteness of the whale to make them more forgery resistant.  i have not done a blue wool lightfastness test yet or checked the ink with a blacklight but if part of the color of the ink comes from a uv responsive ink there will likely be some color shift as the ink ages.

despite all this i have had this ink in at least one pen at a time since i got the bottle and have overal enjoyed it quite a bit.

Fun ink, perfect eyedropper January 29, 2013
Reviewer: Julian Chan Pei Loon from Redcliffe, Queensland Australia
The ink is a fascinating combination of orange and red in a very eye-catching shade. I use it exclusively in that strangely cheap looking but brilliant and oh-so-smooth eyedropper pen that came along with it for underlining and targeting important information in my notes. When I buy my next noodler's ink, I'm going to look for one that offers the free pen with it.

Pretty neon orange with pink undertones January 23, 2013
Reviewer: B. Burke from Portlandia, OR United States
I really like this orange and the free pen it came with.

I'm not sure if it's the pen or the ink (or both) that write really wet but saying that, it does dry relatively fast.

I experimented by doing about 2 parts ink with 1 part distilled water and I was able to get more of the pink to show up, but was a lot lighter than full strength.

Over all a great color if you want your writing to be noticed or to draw with.

The great thing is, if you're not entirely thrilled with the ink, you get a really nice free pen. You can almost think of it as buying the pen and getting free ink!!

(I took off a star because I wish it had more shading, especially into the pink tones but I still love this color and use it almost daily)
