Amazing all purpose notebook! September 2, 2010

I happen to be a paper / journal fanatic, I have shelves of unused product because I cannot resist buying nice or interesting notebooks and journals.  This one never made it to the shelf, it has stayed near me each day. I use it mostly for writing (even though the cover says sketching), I love the fact that I can have Verge De France quality paper to jot on - for around the same cost as moleskine.

I used the Quo Vadis elastic bookmark and it works as a wonderful accessory to keep everything inside. People complain that it does not lay flat for the best writing surface, however, this is no longer an issue after a week or so of use, mine opens perfectly flat now and I am only 1/4 way through, it just has to be broken in!

Great Paper September 2, 2010

The paper in these is truly FP friendly. Nice texture, no feathering, bleed, etc. It is also a good deal, as it is roughly the same paper as the Lalo pads, but bound (and you get a bunch). Only gripe is that the size is a tad small for me (I am kind of verbose when note taking and such, and don't really write into the crack).  It would be nice if there were an 8.5 x 11 version.
