De Atramentis Moss Green (35ml)

De Atramentis Moss Green is a very wet flowing, desaturated, light green that works best on higher quality paper. While not as legible for longer-form writing, De Atramentis Moss Green works great when you need a little pop in your writing, such as checking off to-do items or editing. All De Atramentis inks are handmade in Germany by Dr. Franz-Josef Jansen.

Not a fan April 8, 2014
Reviewer: Erik from Minneapolis, MN United States
I am a newbie to fountain pens, but I have tried this ink in a Pilot Metropolitan and then in a wide-nib Esterbrook.  I have also tried it on a couple of different kinds of paper, from regular office copy paper to a journal I got at Barnes & Noble.  In every instance, the ink is too light to read, or it feathers.  It's just not good.  I keep thinking something will redeem it, but I think it's not worth the money.

Bright for annotations, highlighting March 12, 2013
Reviewer: Keri from Jacksonville, FL United States
This is a bright, pale green with a lot of yellow in it. I found that I love it for annotating/editing copy and for marking items off on my to-do list. I didn't find it particularly easy to read when writing a lot with it, but as an ink for drawing or annotations? it's great!

While I had my pen inked with the sample, I didn't necessarily use it as my go-to, but did find myself reaching for it small items throughout the day, and I enjoyed using it when doodling in a meeting.

Love the Color- But Bleeds & Feathers January 26, 2013
Reviewer: NSmith from Dallas, TX United States
Moss green is a good descriptor. It feathers out of a broad nib on Rhodia paper, but out of a fine nib, it's nice but bleeds a bit, i think it looks cool though.
