Actually this is Midnight Blue October 4, 2014
Reviewer: Bill Wood from Melfort, SK Canada
Not sure why they call this Deepwater Obsession because it's basically the same as Midnight Blue. De Atramentis inks in the dark blue/black range are a little funny. There is a green undertone - so this is not a true black/blue or blue/black. In this color range I've found that the DA inks are quite the same. In the lighter blues and greens there is a difference. The ink flows and cleans up well - but not I've got two bottles of basically the same color. A dark blue/black with some green undertones. Goulet service spectacular as usual.

black blue? November 9, 2012
Reviewer: David Arbon from Adelaide Australia
Once having enjoyed the blght and well behaved poppy red from de aramentis I thought I might try their black blue since my Waterman supply had runout.
The ink sadly though interesting is actually dark green. Not a glimmer of blue and wet, very wet, at least in my Onoto Magna classic. I already had a pot of ebony geen from private reserve so another dark green well... all this aside it is a nice dark ink. It flows well and dries quickly enough but did I mention it is not a blue at all.
Cheers.
