Good Pen for starters May 14, 2012
Reviewer: Jeff Ding from Frisco, TX United States
i like the flex in the nib and it is a very good pen overall.

i do not exactly like the plastic construction of the pen as the clip can scratch certain parts of it and the pen is very light too.

I would recommend the demonstrator version of this instead since the ink is tough to see in the pen since it is all opaque except for the ink window.

The pen also has some start up issues every once in a while but i would definitely recommend this pen.

Exceptional price/performance pen March 20, 2012
Reviewer: redisburning from Boston, MA United States
The last few years have represented a high mark for high-quality but yet low cost goods. I've seen it with fountain pens, pocket knives and audio gear. This pen is squarely in line with this tradition.

So let's be honest. It's small, it's not got the great f&f and it smells. But for 15 dollars this is really a fun toy. Or maybe even a serious pen.

I found the nib and feed on mine to be perfectly acceptable. Starts off nice and fine and flexes to about what I would expect.

Now, I don't think this pen is comparable to the non-disposable era pens that are now classics (ie 1st tier vintage pens) and I don't think Ill be using this one in 50 years like the parkers I own which are twice my age and still going strong, but I would expect a good 3 or 4 years of service from one of these. Much better than spending 15 dollars on a bunch of gel pen refills.

Nathan, good job and keep your business in Massachusetts.

Great quality for a very low price March 19, 2012
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
I love this pen—it's got a nice flex, though it requires some pressure. This is nice, though, because I can use it both as a calligraphy pen and as a writing pen. It doesn't flex very much when I write at a normal pressure, so I don't get unwanted line variation if I'm just scribbling something down.

Awesome!! March 18, 2012
Reviewer: Luke from Catania, Sicilia Italy
A wonderful fountain pen, as extraordinarily economic as extraordinarily interesting.
Piston fill, ebonite feed, flex nib (not a wet noodle of course, but has a very nice stroke), classic design (note the bow-windowed chamber ink), celluloid derivative, easy flow customizability .. At only 14$!
You'll never find this quality in other economic pens. It's perfect for a daily use but also for calligraphic use.
The nib is fine enough to obtain an interesting stroke variation (from a fine to a 1.1 stub I think).
I like it very much!

Thank you very much to Brian Goulet for the attention (he sent me a super sealed package, bomb-proof!) and for his professionism and kindness in e-mail conversations.

Flex Nib March 9, 2012
Reviewer: Chris Hutson from Columbus, IN United States
I like this pen, but sometimes have problems with the ink flow.  Still a nice flex pen for the price.
