Rated 5 out of 5 by from my favorite ink I really like the shade of this and the flow as with all Waterman inks, I always keep at least 1 pen inked with this and when I get a new pen it is my test ink.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gorgeous color I got this in the February Ink Drop and first tried it out in a Noodler's Nib Creaper. The color is beautiful and the ink shaded in a very pretty way. Then, I actually managed to swap my Nib Creaper's nib with a non-flex nib I took on another pen of mine (it's a very wet nib), and the color really popped a lot. It became a deep, super vibrant purple with practically no shading. I think I actually like that version better. The reason I only gave it 4 stars though is because it feathers like crazy on cheaper paper. It's really nuts how all web-like the lines become when used on anything else that is a bit too absorbent in my experience. But as long as it's used on decent paper (I'd say Fabriano EcoQua, at the minimum), it's a truly amazing ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Far more vibrant than most Waterman inks Usually the trade off with Waterman is great performance for a muted, less saturated colour. Not this time. Performance is as excellent as you'd expect, but this is a highly saturated, vibrant purple. It also mixes well with Serenity Blue for what Mr Binder calls "Blurple" and can add some flare to that staple on your ink shelf. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from true purple I think this ink has the balance between red and green, if there is such a thing as "true" purple. PR Tanzanite is more blue; PR Plum is more red, but this is a happy medium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great inks - they are all my favorites I bought a flacon each of : Delta Yellow, J.H. Indian orange, J.H. Cyclamen-pink, and Waterman Purple tenderness. Yellow -- my intention was to do drawing/sketching using the primary color inks only. The idea didn't work. I may need some more experimentation/practice. The ink itself is excellent, nice yellow color. It looks like the ink makes the nib glide smoother on the paper. Indian orange -- excellent color as expected just like the skin color of the citrus fruit. Another "must have" from J.H. Cyclamen-pink -- In retrospect I don't know why I bought this. Another excellent encre from J.H., nonetheless. Seductive gay rose pink color. Purple tenderness -- "The standard" purple ink everybody love. Another "must have" for any connoisseur of FPs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from pretty ink; excellent customer service Considering that Waterman quietly changed their ink names without bothering to tell even their dealers, the Goulet Pen company did a great job shipping everything out and answering questions. And although it may have a new name, this is still the pretty, safe fountain pen ink I've always loved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No drama purple I use this for my everyday writing- it's purple without being too crazy. It doesn't bleed through Moleskine cahier weight paper and thinned with 10% water it behaves very well on that paper. The ink behaves perfectly - no clogging, no gloppy bits.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rich Purple A rich purple, not too dark, not too light. The color is just right for me, but of course that's totally a matter of taste. Not significantly water resistant. Stays on the page but blurs to the point of illegibility.
