Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful bright turquoise I used this ink in cartridge form, and liked it so much I bought a bottle to use in my non-Sheaffer c/c pens. It's a very bright, cyan-leaning turquoise with great shading, without being too light for daily use. It writes smoothly and behaves well on most papers. I've used it on cheap lined paper and while it does feather and bleed a little, it's not near as bad as some inks. Quality paper really brings out the shading. Best part: it's a close colour match for Pilot Iroshizuku Ama-Iro (which I've tried in sample form). For the same volume, similarly good properties and at just under a third of the price, I'd pick the Sheaffer any day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ink If there were ever an underrated and overlooked ink, this could be it. Since it's one of the cheaper inks out there, I bought some to use as a disposable ink for testing vintage pens after repair. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised when I loaded it up for the first time. Bold, cheerful color, more than adequate lubrication, and good behavior on most papers. What more could you ask for? It is a fairly wet ink, so it may not be suited to a very wet writing pen, but other than that, it's a wonderful ink. A great alternative to some other, more expensive inks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible shading! I used this ink through high school when it was named Peacock Blue and resisted getting a sample because none of the images looked the same. It turns out it looks pretty different depending on the flow of the pen, the nib, and the paper, but once I found the right combo, there was my old favorite. It's a beautiful, well-behaved ink at a great price, and it's hands-down one of the best shading blue inks I've tried. It beats Noodler's Ottoman Azure hands down for shading. I have it in a Noodler's Ahab, which is a fairly wet writer, and the way it shades in that, it could give Noodler's BSIAR a run for its money. It's neck and neck with Iroshizuku Kon Peki as my favorite bright blue ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reminds me of the old peacock blue I bought the Sheaffer turquoise because of comments that said it was a close match to the old peacock blue. And that was a favorite ink a LONG time ago, before I was pushed into blue and black. The Sheaffer turquoise looks close enough to what my failing memory thinks peacock blue looked like that I am happy. I found it best written with a wet Med or wider nib. A Fine nib, or a dry nib will cause the ink to look washed out against the white paper. It currently inks a Parker 45 with a M nib.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A gem This color takes me back to my first fountain pen in grade school. (Did you know that nuns thought ballpoints were sinful? I just remembered that.) In fact this turquoise has some remarkable shading. In fact, on Rhodia paper I see shading going across the stroke, with darker edges on each line. It seems a little too light to be a drawing ink, but great for love notes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sheaffer Skrip Turquoise This ink is a beautiful color - exactly what comes to my mind when I think Turquoise. Flows well and reliably. The bottle has a low center of gravity and a wide mouth so it is very usable. Sheaffer ink is nice and cheap and washes off hands and out of pens very easily. A great ink to have in the herd.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have Just a bright, happy color. The best turquoise ink I have ever used. I LOVE this color. A must have. This color in the swab shop is spot on (for a fine or med nib). In a really broad nib you get a lot of shading and it looks a hair darker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sheaffer Skrip Turquoise This ink offers stunning shading and it is a rich Turquoise that harbors more toward the lighter side.
