Rohrer & Klingner - Fernambuk (50ml Bottled Ink) is rated 4.9375 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from More coral than pink but it's LOVE. Fernambuk behaves very well - flushes clean, doesn't feather (on super cheap, thin paper only slightly), dries quickly, and the colour is just so pretty! I expected a more blue toned pink but Fernambuk in my eyes is a warmer pink. It can look reddish, too, depending on what you write on but whatever shade it dries to is a very pretty colour. I like it a lot. The attached photo is the Fernambuk with a Medium Lamy Safari nib on regular no fancy schmancy paper (it was an old envelop). Hope this helps some.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Complex Color I'm not much of a pink person, so I was very surprised when I fell instantly in love with Fernambuk. In my pilot heritage 92 MF, a dry writer, it is a light, dusky, rose with a tinge of orange. Depending on the nib, the pink will have orange to red undertones creating a unique color. In my Waterman 52 MF/M, it is a dark, deep, saturated reddish pink. Somewhat muted on all counts yet stands out on the page. The ink is easy to clean out of pens and behaves well with no nib creep. A slightly dry ink, but with good flow. I hope Rohrer & Klingner continues manufacturing Fernambuk for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just lovely! I'd been looking for an ink to use for mark-up and editing, and everything was either too dull or too obnoxious. Fernambuk is perfect. It really stands out on the page but doesn't make me wince. Plus, it is just so beautiful. And I don't even like pink ink. But I like this one for sure. It feathers a bit more than I'd like on cheap paper, but that's a small price to pay. It behaves very well in all other aspects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Characteristically Unique So much so that I had to have a bottle after trying a sample of it. I'm not a pink fan of any sorts, but the hues of orange/red makes this ink fun to write and look at. I do love bright, cheery colors and don't have an issue with a page that glows. There is nothing subdued or calming about Fernambuk except the ink behavior and maintenance itself. A definite editing/commenting tool if ever one existed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ink This is a lovely shade of pink. I'm hesitant to call it hot pink, because it's a bit darker than that. It is bright, but not so bright that it hurts your eyes to read a full page of it. I personally love the color, plus I love the quick dry time and how easy it is to flush from a pen. I highly recommend this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as pink as I expected The colour of Fernambuk is more of a scarlet-red; not as pink as it appears on the photos here. Dilution also did not bring out any pink for me. As such I was a little disappointed at the colour, but it is still a lovely red. NB if mixing it is relatively weak in mixes. As this is my first red ink, I have attached a comparison to watercolour pigments in the photo to give those of you with an art background some idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful dark pink This is just beautiful ink. It dries to a darker shade than the one your see as you write. I had it in a Noodler's Ahab and saw some shading but not as much as with some of the Rohrer and Klinger colors but it definitely was there. It's very saturated for a pink and I think it could be used in a finer nib without looking too dark but I haven't tried that yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful but... I love this ink, but it isn't entirely what I expected. From the photos I expected it to be a truer pink, while what I found after loading (TWSBI Diamond 580, 1.1 mm stub italic), was that it looks more coral than pink. That being said, I can't complain. It dries quickly, doesn't bleed through, and pops like crazy off the page.
