Rhodia No. 16 Notepad - Orange, Dot Grid (5.83 x 8.27) is rated 4.9259 out of 5 by 54.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from OC about double-sided dot misalignment. This is a cool concept, and the paper is nice smooth quality. I use and enjoy it on a regular basis. My review is harsh for one reason only: The graph dots are printed on both sides of the page, and in certain light conditions the paper is thin enough that they will shadow through, and the dots are slightly misaligned on one side versus the other. This, if you're the meticulous kind of person attracted to a dot pad, and I can be, is irritating; sometimes distracting. On a light table it's confusing for very fine work. The paper is too thin to be useful for writing on both sides anyways; it would better if the dots were only printed on one side. But, for fun and casual uses it's worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Notepad I've heard about Rhodia for several years, but never really thought much about it until Brian's videos showed him using it to evaluate inks, pen nibs, etc. His video reviews of Rhodia products convinced me to try it. It really is wonderful. Did not feather or bleed through with a myriad of inks used with fountain pens and a glass dip pen that I tried out on it while making a record of all my inks. I selected the dot style thinking it would be the most versatile and I think it is. I like the micro-perforations over adhesive bound because I can tear out pages anywhere in the pad without pulling those in front loose. If you use this in the field, toss it into packs, or in general are rough with you consider getting the pad cover or equivalent to protect the pad. For my needs, I use it on a desk or table. I'm glad I got this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Standard I may have already reviewed this. These are my favorite pads. I burn through them for ink testing, letters, notes, etc. Great paper, very smooth and always feels and looks classy. The dots allow more flexible use than ruled, and less clutter than graph. Lasting favorite and replace often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be careful Give careful thought before buying this, it will ruin all other paper for you. I will definitely be buying more. Goulet Pens service is awesome- wish I could buy that in a bottle and give it to my team.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent paper, cheery orange cover I love these Rhodia dot pads. The dot grid is really versatile because I can write or sketch or whatever, and once written over, the grid fades to the background. The paper feels luxuriously smooth, but the notebooks aren't prohibitively expensive. The paper is perfect for fountain pen use; even using a broad nib and a vibrant ink, I can still use the back-side of the paper. I use mine as my "ubiquitous capture" device, and when one is filled, I write the dates on the cheery orange cover with a sharpie. I have a stack of them already. You can tear sheets out, but the sheets don't just come out on their own; no, not even after it's knocked around in my bag for a month or two. I'm so glad I can find these at Goulet; it's convenient to order a few whenever I, inevitably, buckle and buy a new bottle of ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite paper This little pad has quickly become my favorite and go-to paper for all things fountain pen related. From writing letters to calligraphy practice, this paper behaves excellent with all types of ink. No feathering and hardly ever bleeds through. The nibs just glide over the smooth paper and the dot pattern helps with writing straight lines/placement without being obtrusive. I highly recommend the Dot Pad as a staple for anyone that likes writing with a variety of inks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic and Sophisticated This is a well designed notepad! The way the cover folds over is just elegant. And the micro-perforations, though a little tricky to get started, make this paper useful for letters, notes, or drawings. The dots are subtle and not distracting at all, but useful. 80gsm! This paper must be dense because it's so smooth and yet feels thinner than copy paper. But no bleed through and makes all your inks vibrant!
