Pilot CON-20 Squeeze Converter is rated 4.3889 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Required for Faceted Pilot Vanishing Point I picked this converter up after learning that the newer style CON-50 piston converter is just a bit too long to let the trap door on the old, faceted plastic model Pilot Vanishing Point to completely close and seal. This was causing the nib to dry out and made the pen basically useless. Installing one of these fixed the problem right up. It fits perfectly in the pen and holds a decent amount of ink for the size of the converter. As a bonus, the squeeze converter is easier to use than the CON-50 piston-style one. :) Shipping was, as usual, lightning fast and everything arrived very safely packaged.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as it should. I bought the converter a month ago and I am quite please with it. It holds a lot of ink, as I expected. The squeeze mechanism is quite easy to use. It fits well in my Pilot Kakuno. The one and only issue is that its quite hard to clean. I didn't think that I would mind the fact that you can't see inside, but I found that no matter how much water I squeezed inside and out of the converter, there always seemed to be some ink-stained water stuck inside that I had to tap on the table to get out. In the end, I just twisted a napkin and stuck it into the converter to get the rest out. Maybe there's a better solution, but that's my experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Converter I had never seen a Con-20 converter before I bought 2, but Brian covered these in some of his videos and I have been curious. This converter has the same ink capacity as the cartridge, which is more than the Con-50 has. I have two Vanishing Points, a Metropolitan, a Metal Falcon, and the set of Parallel pens. Normally I refill the cartridges, but may use these in pens that I will change the ink in or refill often (Parallel pens probably). Super quality, simple to use, and works with the Vanishing Point pens without the metal cartridge cap. The only downside is that it is hard to see how low the ink is. Easier to see in the cartridge. A solid converter that works very well. Recommended to anyone who wants to use a converter in a Pilot fountain pen but wants more ink than the Con-50 provides.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok once I got the hang of it I bought this to replace a CON-50 piston converter that seemed to jam up with Platinum Carbon ink. So far, the CON-20 has worked well. It took me a while to figure out how to get it to fill all the way (slow release after squeezing and, sometimes, doing it twice). My one complaint is that I can't see how much ink is actually in the thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Push it in HARD I thought I got a dud until I heard the converter seat into place with a *click*. You need to use excessive force to do this. Converter works great. Holds what feels like double the capacity of a twist converter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well except for a small mishap I had with one of these These are really nice, solid converters. Though I actually prefer the "cleaning converter" that came with my Pilot Metropolitan, the all-metal housing for the CON-20 definitely wins for durability. The only real issue I have with these is that when I press down on the plate to fill it, the metal housing cuts into my fingers a bit, resulting in mild discomfort. Also, one time I was cleaning a Pilot pen...I accidentally did *something* and the next thing I knew, the metal plate was nowhere to be seen. The now-visible metal part surrounding the top of the rubber sac was now at an angle such that I couldn't use the converter anymore. However, on an average day, these converters do their job very efficiently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good option This converter is a good alternative to the piston, but you will need a fair amount of experience with fountain pens to judge the amount of ink inside without being able to see it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pilot CON 20 Simple, reliable, easy to use converter that is pretty much fail safe and fits most Pilot fountain pens. Converter holds a good volume of ink, not hard to fill and easy to remove for cleaning. Comes with Pilot's outstanding reputation and at no extra charge, Goulet Family and friends product support also included. You can't go wrong with Pilot or Goulet
