International Shipping FAQ

Do you ship to my country?

We welcome orders in almost all countries, as long as our current shipping carriers offer service there. If you don't see a shipping method, unfortunately we cannot ship to that country at this time. 

We also are not shipping to Quebec (Canada), or to Puerto Rico (US territory).

We cannot ship a FedEx order to a PO Box address. 

How much is my shipping?

Simply add the items you want into your cart, and you'll be given shipping options and prices at checkout. All of our shipping rates are a flat price, and will depend on your country. Note: these rates do not include customs fees and/or taxes required by the importing country. Not all shipping methods are available in all countries. If you don't see a shipping method, unfortunately we cannot ship to that country.

Standard International: $12-$22 flat rate depending on your location. Full tracking included. If you don't see a shipping method included, unfortunately we cannot ship to that country.

**FedEx is required for orders valued over $750.**

FedEx International Priority: $36-$48 flat rate depending on your location. Our most expedited shipping option. Full tracking is included. If you don't see a shipping method, unfortunately we cannot ship to that country.

FedEx International Economy: $28-$42 flat rate depending on your location. Also an expedited shipping option, though not as fast as International Priority. Full tracking is included. If you don't see a shipping method, unfortunately we cannot ship to that country.

Note: If you choose a FedEx Option, they will take care of clearing your order through customs in order to reduce transit times. At time of delivery you will be presented a bill from them to pay these fees. See:

Please note that we now have a minimum order threshold of $200 (in product cost, after discounts and before shipping) for all orders to the United Kingdom. Due to new regulations in 2021 regarding VAT on low value goods, we are unable at this time to comply and thus can only ship orders above the threshold. We apologize for the inconvenience.

When will my order ship?

If you select FedEx and place your order by 11am Eastern Time (Monday-Friday), we'll ship it that same business day, unless you have requested something that causes a delay. All other orders will ship within 3 business days.

We ship five days a week, Monday through Friday. Sometimes our mail pickup comes in early afternoon, so tracking for orders shipped later that day may not update until the following business day.

You will receive a shipment confirmation with tracking information via email when your order has shipped. You can also sign in and click the My Account link at the top of our site to track the status of your order.

Please expect an extra day for processing during times of high volume, such as major holidays, or when we are closed for those holidays.

When will my order arrive?

*These estimates begin once the order has been shipped from our warehouse, typically 2-3 business days after the order has been placed. FedEx orders are shipped same business day if we receive your order by 11am Eastern Time. With international FedEx orders, there is not a guaranteed delivery date.

Standard International: Usually arrives within 5-14 days. Full tracking.

FedEx International Priority: Usually arrives in 4-7 days. Full tracking.

FedEx International Economy: Usually arrives in 6-10 days. Full tracking.

Do you offer currency conversion?

Not at this time. All prices are displayed in US dollars. It is up to you to calculate the exchange rate if you are paying with a different currency. 

Do I have to pay duties/customs?

Most likely "Yes".

Laws vary by country, so it depends on your country's regulations. You are responsible for paying any assessed customs fees upon receipt. We are not responsible for any customs fees charged.

Whoever receives the package is responsible for paying any applicable duties or taxes on the received products, even if it is being shipped as a gift! We cannot mark packages as gifts, and we will not falsify the total value of the package to skirt customs fees. That is against our company value to "Be Honest." All contents will be stated on the outside of the package as part of the customs form.

If you fail to pay the duties for your parcel and it is returned to us, you will have the option for us to re-ship your package to you (and you will pay for shipping again), or we can cancel your order and refund you for the products less the original shipping amount paid. We will reach out to you if your package is returned to us.

For Australian residents, we do collect 10% Australian GST for merchandise and shipping charges ordered on this website, which in general should not be charged at the point of customs. If in the event you are also charged at customs, please email us at info@gouletpens.com and we'll refund the portion we collected.

For New Zealand residents, we do collect 15% New Zealand GST for merchandise and shipping charges ordered on this website, which in general should not be charged at the point of customs. If in the event you are also charged at customs, please email us at info@gouletpens.com and we'll refund the portion we collected.

Oops, I gave you an incorrect shipping address!

Please email us at info@gouletpens.com immediately if you realize that you gave us the wrong shipping address — if it hasn't shipped yet, we might be able to correct it before it goes out the door. 

If your order ships to the address provided and ends up being returned to us, then you are responsible for paying the cost of shipping again to resend it to you. If you decide to cancel your order instead, we'll refund you for the products less the original shipping charges. We'll reach out to you to coordinate your options before re-shipping.

If your order ships to an incorrect address provided at the time the order is placed and is not retrievable, unfortunately we are not responsible and cannot offer reimbursement.

Help! I think my package is lost!

While most international packages show up within a week or two, there can be delays for a variety of reasons. 

First, check with your local post office or FedEx office, depending upon which shipping method you used. In many countries, you can give them your tracking/package number and they can tell you if it's in their system or not. If not, please let us know and we'll do our best to track it down.
