Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use as an everyday ink. Works great! Bought this ink a few months back and I have been using it daily. Dark enough to use at work and flows well. Nice color blue different yet professional. I use this in a Noodler's Ahab pen and I have not had any problems so far.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Chalky Appearance Upper Ganges Blue was a disappointment. It dried to a chalky-looking light blue with some grey, took a long time to dry and bled through the paper I was using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to my list of blue inks I got this as a sample initially and quickly decided to add it to my collection of blue ink. Very smooth writer, drying time is reasonable for lefties. No real bleed through so far as I can tell on a range of paper qualities. I could easily use this in a professional setting. I like the bulletproof quality of the ink. This will be getting used outdoors where wart resistance tends to be desirable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but extremely wet I like this color but an unsure about it. It is a very wet ink and flows copiously in my 1.1 stub. I'll have to give it a try in a F or M nib pen. As for the color, it's a more muted color which I tend to like. It's a little bit of a dusty blue as opposed to a bright, highly saturated blue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sub-par on regular paper On regular (read cheap) paper this ink is sub-par. Issues: * Too pale * Feathers more than other inks * More bleedthrough than other inks Note: This is using a broad nib -- YMMV. Lastly, the ink also has a fairly strong smell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent performance at work I've been searching for a perfect ink to use at work. I write a lot, on very cheap paper, often on various coloured forms (red, green, blue, yellow), and the ink has to be at least partially waterproof. Upper Ganges Blue is perfect for my purpose. It's fully waterproof, flow well in my pens, and is saturated enough not to be very affected by paper colour. The colour is very similar to Noodler's Blue, but with a slightly "faded" or pastel hue, which I actually prefer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brightening blue This ink is not a rich blue or a deep blue, but it is not pale either. The brighter blue inks can lean toward aqua, but this seems more azure. Whichever - it is exactly the colour I wanted! Just a bright, bright blue, to brighten my blue words. It flows too well for doodling on copy paper; so, I doodle on nicer paper. And I diluted it a little for more shading from my Pilot Metropolitan, with a medium nib that writes a little wet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great doing business with you! Noodler's inks are always good, but what made them special this time is the extremely shory waiting time (compared to amazon, ebay etc) and fool-proof delivery - which means my excitement for the ink was not killed by the slow delivery! Thanks, Brian and Rachel ! --Satya

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good, but somewhat bleed-prone a decent blue, slightly on the gray side; businesslike. fast drying, but quite runny and seems to like to bleed. not the really vivid, bright blue i thought i was buying, but still quite serviceable --- better with dry-writing, fine nibs, though. i'll happily keep using it, but i suspect i'll go through much more black (and perhaps other colors, too) than this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kinda like denim. This ink is pretty unique. It's nearly opaque in the vial, but it shades beautifully on paper from a wet nib. It gets a little bleedy on regular papers if you use a broad nib though. It performs really well in my Kaweco Sport with a M nib. I just wish it were a little cheaper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Blue I was looking for an ink that is totally fraud resistant and a true blue, rather than a blue-black. This meets the requirements and is also fairly quick drying. I like it so much that I just bought my second bottle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I actually love the chalky kind of look Hey, as I said before, there are not many blue inks I don't like and Upper Ganges Blue is also in one of my pens virtually since I got the bottle. Bullet proof. Nice color, nice flow. very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not an Expert, But It looks good, flows well, through medium and fine points, both Cross. I am pleasantly surprised at how well it flows through my ancient Cross fine point.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from a bit dull Not a bad blue. Wasn't really after its special qualities - just color and flow. Both are ok, but nothing remarkable. Fine for office use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not my favourite. Not my favourite blue comparing with pelikan, sheaffer, lamy, platinum blues. Colour not rich.
