Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Color, Harder to Erase I love the blue of this ink. It's a nice color. I use it as a second color in writing on a dry-erase board (accompanied by a blackerase marker as the primary marker). It stands out beautifully. It is not dry erase, but this is not to be expected from the description. A damp paper towel is sufficient to erase the board. However, while the black cleans off well, the blue does not come off as easily. I have to clean it several times to completely remove all blue. It is for this reason that it is not 5 stars. This is a nice replacement for dry erase markers because the pen is refilled rather than thrown away. However, the buyer should understand what this pen is.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good alternative to solvent dry erase A nice ink, but a little misbehaved for the boards I use. I solved the problem by replacing the highlighter tip with a marker tip. The blue tends to bead up if on the board for a day or so. It will also bleed onto your fingers if your hand contacts the wet towel while wiping off the ink from the board. Takes more cleaning effort since the ink spreads freely once wet. So it lost a star because of the maintenance issue. On the good side, with the marker tip, this is excellent!!! With the finer tip I am again in love with the concept and ink. Definitely designed for the eyedropper converted pen it comes with. EDIT: After many months of use I've knocked another star off for very bad behavior in the eye dropper. It will ultimately seep around the seal no matter what. In a cartridge or converter it goes. Hint: Sometimes leaves a thin film on whiteboards. I use a chlorox wipe that will take off the blue film. Also 1:3 alcohol to water removes all residue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I use this ink on a Luxor whiteboard with the supplied Preppy Marker pen (though I changed the tip to the Highlighter tip as I like the broader nib). It works very well and I don't have any problem wiping it off with a damp paper towel. I tried getting the Platinum ink converter to use with the free accompanying pen, but it doesn't work with these marker pens. There's nothing for it to click into. So I'm using it as an eyedropper pen, hoping it won't ooze at a later date as another reviewer stated. This ink has a lovely color. Would love to see Noodler's make more colors for their whiteboard inks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great ink not just for whiteboards This blue is more aquamarine than straight blue. But I like that! It actually flows well in a regular fountain pen, believe it or not. It dries quickly and when diluted, it looks even better. Some nice shading too. I tried the blackerase in two different fountain pens but I tend to get really hard starts, even though the flow is so buttery after it starts. Diluting these weterase inks is the way to go for fountain pen use. Otherwise, they're fun to use with the free Preppy pen on a mirror or window.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Interesting product, not for everybody So, I saw SBRE Brown talk about using this ink in a converted Platinum Preppy and decided to give it a shot. It writes very wet and consistently which is totally untrue for the markers the university supplies our rooms with whiteboards. But it IS WET erase, not DRY erase. I deal with this by carrying a cheap little aluminum perfume spray bottle filled with water around with me. But, it's a bit of a pain to do that and it takes a while to erase it all the way. It's up to you whether the superior writing and carrying your own pen around (sometimes a room just won't have a marker in it) is worth the hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Noodler's Waterase The Noodler's Waterase is a great product. I really love using it and the fact that it is water based is amazing. If you purchase it just know that the Preppy pen that comes with it has a narrow marker tip. They work well, but I have a 4'x6' whiteboard and needed to order the chiseled tips from Goulet Pen Co. as well. I also use a spray bottle with water and a small amount of ammonia (lemon scented) to clean my Board. Enjoy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Budget Minded? Use Waterase I thought so highly of this product that I am using it for all of my dry erase board. I work for a church that tries to spend money correctly. Once I tried Waterase, there was no question we needed to replace our expensive national brand dry erase markers with this system. If you need to leave your work up on the board for days, make sure you do a test, it can ghost an image. If you erase every day, still do a test word or two to be safe. I have the mid-grade melamine and have no problems. Solid Product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Noodler's Bluerase Waterase Ink Great Stuff! Works well on whiteboards. Cleans well with a damp paper towel, and unlike dry erase inks, doesn't leave permanent stains. Also saw Nathan's viedo on the stuff, and am tempted to create a large space just for the pen with his recommendations. I just hope this is popular enough so that it doesn't go out of style.
